Visited this Saturday AND Sunday for long lazy boozy Sunday lunch. Really nice staff - understand the word ‘hospitality’ in ‘hospitality business’. Great pork belly Sunday lunch with big fluffy Yorkshire puds. Glad to see well known old pub reopened.
Lovely pub with friendly staff and fair prices. Online ordering and paying so there is minimal contact. Top tip - book table 11 as it’s right by the fire. Wish there was outside space but that can’t be helped!
Google still offers to punctuate a February visit. Was not impressed, lacked atmosphere, and available spirits and ales were not out of this world, just average. Looking forward to a nice reopening.
Lovely place. Food is very good. Got a few starters to share. Reasonable prices for beer too. Notice they have sports on TV, taco truck and darts board. Will definitely be back soon
SUPER FRIENDLY STAFF, great beers , Completely covid compliment ! Made my friends dog Gary more than welcome and brought him a doggy donut !! Will defo return when Boris lets us out again!!!
Nice historic pub that has a functioning brewery within it. Good range of beers on tap and the Sunday roast is one of the best in Wandsworth. Bar staff is friendly too! No kids allowed, which is fantastic.
Lovely, slightly historic feel to the place. Good selection of drinks. Food was incredible! We had the pig out platter and there was so much food. We loved the cosy spot by the fire and the small selection of board games. Spotted a darts board in the corner too. Will be back to try out the tacos at some point.
Delicious English breakfast either meaty or vegan. Great service. Fantastic atmosphere. Perfect place to eat and drink for whole family and friends.
