The worst pharmacy I have ever been to. The staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. The attitude was hostile and unwelcoming, the opposite of how a pharmacist should be, cannot imagine what I would do if I needed to rely on them for my health. The only pro is the location really. Go to the boots in Brunswick Centre.... it is sad how Boots closes down all the nearby pharmacies, but for a reason apparently.

Amanda and Jacqui are amazing, However, there's a most unpleasant pharmacist, whose replaced the last one, a year or so ago. His people skills are virtually non-existent., he's cold and unfriendly. I have a chronic disorder, which means regular trips to the chemist, and although this is the closest, I'm withdrawing my custom after 20 years. That's how unpleasant he is. I know a few of the local residents also feel the same.
Sold me a product that was expired. I returned minutes later, to be handed replacement that was also expired. There was no alternative available so was offered a refund, but only a cash refund when I had originally paid by card. No decent apology by the pharmacist, just a humph. About time this store had an overhaul and decent stock take for their medicinal products; especially those to be used on a child.
Many years ago I lived across the road from this pharmacy, but I think today was the first time I actually went inside. I was there for a PCR test I booked through Doctapp. I read loads of reviews before booking and this was my best option for price, location and time until result. The pharmacist was friendly, and admitted he'd also passed the same place for years without going inside on his way to and from uni. He's done a lot to make it look more welcoming. I had previously taken two tests at the prompting of the symptom study app. The pharmacist explained how to do the test and what might be different from the previous tests I'd done. There is a separate room in the pharmacy to take the test, with hand sanitiser, wipes, a mirror, scissors to open the swab packet and cut the swab handle, an instruction sheet and a bin to put any waste in. This is actually duplicated, with two spaces separated by a screen where in theory two people could do the test at the same time, but I was the only one there. It was all straightforward enough, and there was a bin to put my sample in up near the front desk. I checked my email after I left and I already had an email outlining next steps: my sample will be delivered to the lab by 8pm, the lab will start testing by 10pm tomorrow, and results released usually by 2pm the following day. So just under 48 hours from when I took the test. These are the details I wanted when I was shopping around for a test! I hope people find it helpful. Now I just have to cross my fingers for a couple of days!
The owner of this pharmacy has shown absolutely no sense of good behaviour towards a sick patient. He's extremely rude. I went to go get prescriptions from here and he kept saying it wasn't available. He kept responding no to all my inquiries which I had.
Glad this my local pharmacy. Popped in today to pick up some meds and introduce myself as I’m new to the area. Had a good chat with the owner/pharmacist and knew I was in great hands with this local chemist. They have huge plans for modifying the shop and the services they offer which will only improve what they already do.
