Nice quiet pool, very clean too. I brought my daughter here 5 month old for her first swim, expecting it to be a busy pool we was the only ones here! The staff seem kind and chatty and the people there were nice too. They have a small canteen area with vending machines which accept cash or card.  Parking is available around the back of the building in small courtyard.

Good local sports centre with lots of things to do including large and small swimming pools with fun splashes for all the family. A Good gym at reasonable prices. Very friendly staff with experienced lifeguards. A great place for the kids especially if they are learning to swim

Nice gym, small but well equipped. It also has a  swimming pool and basketball court & other facilities.  By subscribing with them, you automatically get a subscription for all the 8 Leisure Centres in the city! That is very convenient.

The staff were friendly and the changing rooms were nice separate men and women's changing, the pool was a good size however there is a lot of rust at the bottom of the pool. Luckily I've swum in much worse places so I'll certainly be returning for a regular early morning swim.

Good, well - run, clean little leisure centre. The gym is decent, with a selection of cardio machines, weight machines and some free weights dumbells only. The pool is 25 m and there's a kids pool, which both have quite short scheduled swim slots like all Nottingham pools. The kids pool can be a little too cold and the showers a lot too hot, but otherwise a good leisure centre.

I used to attend the gym here but lost my motivation and stopped going. I preferred the equipment here to other gyms although they have very recently upgraded everything. Out of the gym instructors, Zeno was my favourite as he was extremely helpful and didn't make me feel inadequate. The other instructors are helpful, but with their ripped muscles, I used to feel ashamed to be overweight. So, if you're a fatty like me and you want to hit the gym, I'd recommend this one, especially if Zeno is still there. Oh yeah, they also have a sports hall, studio for other fitness classes and a swimming pool, all of which are usually popular.

I have been registered in John Carroll Leisure Centre for 3 months, and for now I have experienced very good customer services. In general, I enjoyed the fitness classes I have been to, such as boogies bounce, studio strength, abs blast, etc. Not the intense but I can see the change of my body shape. If the instructors are not available for the classes you have booked in, they always called or leave a voice message to inform you.

My favourite swimming baths, my children learned how to swim here & my mum feels more confident learning to swim in this pool. I also recently dived in for the first time after being encouraged by the pool attendant to try it. Brilliant!!!

Best pool in Nottingham, lovely clean properly segregated changing rooms with proper hot private showers. No ridiculous euro style 'changing village'. Most people can appear to be a "major problem" if you yourself have a bad attitude I expect.

Some of the swimming pool staff are a major problem. The amount of hassle we had with our private booking was outrageous. Every week our swimwear would be criticized. They claim that they are trying to get more people fit and healthy in Nottingham by getting them into regular exercise - that is a lie. We as an institute tried to get more people in the pool and the staff put them off by constantly bickering about swimwear. Would never use their services again!
