Welcome to Cotgrave Leisure Centre’s Facebook page. This page is designed to provide up-to-date information about your leisure centre and all its facilities. Ok sized pool, a bit cold but was nice on a hot day. I would say it's still a bit too cold for younger ones as I took my 6 week old swimming here for the first time and it was freezing. Could only keep her in the water for about 10 minutes. My older kids liked splashing around but the slide is closed during the week on school holidays! Why?! Changing facilities are a bit outdated and the only place they had for baby changing was in the shared female room which is all well and good but I couldn't exactly take my son in there with me so we had to make do with 2 changing rooms for a family and change baby on the tiny benches or the floor... Definitely won't be going again even though they only changed £15 for a family.

This leisure centre is in need of better funding and staffing. It has the potential to be a great place for locals to try and keep healthy but I've been disappointed by the consistent poor maintenance of the facilities. The changing areas are not kept clean and generally not very pleasant. I keep going back in the hope it will improve and also cos it's the only pool that has a flume locally. We went last week during a family swim session and the flume wasn't open. No apology or reason given. Lack of staff? Rushcliffe arena no slide but at least its clean.

The pool itself is nice, but very cold and poor lifeguards - more interested in playing on the walky talkies. The changing facilities are disgusting! They stink, could do with a jet wash and decent scrub. Haven’t changed in 20+ years
We used the swimming pool. A safe "beach" area leading to a shallow end for learners or non swimmers, that finally leads onto the 25-metre lane area. The flume is fun and puts a smile on everyone's face. It's a very clean environment and has proper, friendly staff too!
We attend weekly for the kids swimming. It's a nice swimming pool with a beach area and a slide. There are some halls for hire and some workout rooms. Would recommend.
Good place to come, shower area in the swimming pool area could do with cleaning abit more. The floor is dirty and clumps of wet matted hair everywhere but all around a good place to come swimming wise
First time swimming since 'possibly Feb '20' took my son, not at all crowded, felt very safe. Just need more hand gel in changing rooms and pool side, I had my own but not poolside as it was in my locker - fair enough I'm a bit freaked out by covid, so my issue, maybe not a problem to others, but overall impressed
Went to play badminton with my family. The mid blue painted walls and white ceiling made it difficult to see the shuttle. The main hall lighting was done with uplighters along the back walls which was good but just not quite powerful enough. Nice children's swimming pool.
