Staff are extremely unhelpful and are basically looking for a reason to stop any benefits you receive. They look down on you and offer no actual help in finding employment. Don't waste your time going there unless you enjoy disappointment. Do whatever you can to find employment yourself as it will be 100% more effective.

A year ago was no help at all, No idea how to help the older skilled person. Got more help from DWP, they at least listen. No idea why they are still operating, more tax payers money wasted.

Like any business the job centre staff have good days and bad but if they like you and you are polite and calm you get better customer services from the staff there. I did a month of work experience there which is why I can understand why they are sometimes late or slightly rude.

Rude staff, often look down their noses at their "clients" then threaten to stop their money if they don't apply for jobs "clients" aren't looking for. Staff are rarely on time for appointments THEY make themselves.
