The fried chicken, lobster pops, seabass lettuce tacos, snickers dessert and matcha shaved ice were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the restaurant. The Mayfair branch is more spacious and better for big groups than the Soho branch
Friendly and welcoming staff, with good suggestions for both food and wine. Good service, delivery of food well paced. Tables can get a bit crowded with all the dishes but we found it manageable. Every item we tried was beautifully presented and tasted great. Flavours and seasonings were well balanced. They had a DJ there during our visit a Friday night but the music never felt overpowering or a blocker to having a conversation. Although they advertise a 2hour booking, we were not rushed and stayed well beyond our 'slot'. Only slight downside is that the lighting is a little dark.
Simply excellent! One of my faves in the area. Helpful and very nice staff. The food and cocktails are amazing. The atmosphere is quiet and comfy and the restaurant is beautiful. Will definitely go there more often.
Hip place. Has a Dj for dinner. Food is OK/Good. Very busy at dinner time. Staff very friendly.
I ordered king prawns and got prawn sushi. I was expecting king prawns. Slightly disappointed. On a positive note, Lobster lollipops and rolls were tasty, so was the trio platter. Friendly staff. Small and cosy good place to meet up for a quick bite to eat.
I'm so glad they opened in Mayfair since its a lot more convenient. The service was good and as usual the food pretty tasty, It's been a long time since I've been to their restaurant in Soho and I'm glad to see their menu has more options. Bring back the crispy chicken like you have in the Soho branch. We'll be back.
Disappointing to say the least. We have visited jinjuu Soho and had a fabulous meal and experience but the one in Mayfair.. .. greeted by nice staff, enjoyed a cocktail at the bar, all was going so well until the 'sommelier' recommended a wine, but then questioned if we could afford it! The food was of a poor quality, greasy chicken, their signature dish, mushroom tacos with absolutely no flavour.. the best thing we were served was probably the radish! We left before attempting to order any main dishes. Do yourself a favour, either go to the other branch in Soho or just save your money.
Disappointing, we had a very condesending waiter. My partner is half Korean and we love Korean food - this isn't authentic but a watered down expensive mayfair version. The waiter got shirty and insisted we order the 'better cut of meat' all this food is marinated so it really is about the preparation... not the cut of meat. My parents enjoyed it and it was for a special occasion. I think that it is overpriced and not worth what they are charging. My partner feels the same way - Korean food is essentially peasant food.
Absolutely delicious food. I can in particular recommend the Bulgogi tacos, the Mandoo dumplings and the whole fried baby chicken. The tartare was also good. It's all quite expensive, but overall I would say definitely worth it.
Cauliflower poppers, lobster pops, hot stone rice - all delicious. Fresh. Everything on menu appealed to Korean and non Korean food lovers alike. Great helpful service. Lunch Set menu good value.
