Quick and friendly service. Good tasting beef all round. It's good if you want a quick but good Korean BBQ. Beef bulgogi and beef kalbi short ribs were particularly good. Kimchi tofu soup was toooo sour in my opinion but some of my friends preferred it. 7.7/10
Our favourite Korean Restaurant in London We have been coming to this establishment for the past 10+ years and each time the food, service and atmosphere is always on point. The managers really care and you can see the effort they put to ensure each and every dish arrives at their expectation. We highly recommend the seafood pancake and chapchae glass noodles, soup and of course the Korean BBQ - Short ribs being our favourite. I would recommend for families, dates and at the rear / lower level they have space to host larger groups for a unique experience. There is a reason Arirang has remained here despite the growing number of Korean restaurants in the area, a must try if you visit London.
Reminds me of the taste of real Korean food. Good taste and nice staff.Food: 5/5
Dining at Arirang restaurant was a great experience from start to finish. I was impressed by the warm invitation of the staff. The staff here were really nice but won’t get full 5 stars for the service as they let me sit and order online with no conversation or asking if everything was ok, etc. Every dish I tried was a perfect taste and quantity. The flavors were both authentic and exquisite, a true testament to the skill of the chefs. Beautifully presented, the Korean barbecue offered a unique and interactive evening. The variety of options on the menu ensured that there was something for everyone, from vegetarians to meat lovers. The attention to detail in each dish was evident, and the quality of ingredients was top-notch. It’s an ideal place for a day time meal, a gathering with friends, or a special celebration, but not really a romantic place. The restaurant’s decor and lighting was a bit dated but still clean and functional. I would definitely return and savor more of the foods here, especially the spicy mushrooms, yum!.
Decent Korean restaurant in the heart of Soho! Enjoyed my dinner there and the taste of my cold noodles, although the sliced beef in there was just very tough and over cooked, but the broth was nice and the noodles had great chewiness. The tteokbokki were flavourful and a bit too spicy for me but I know it was fine for my friends! The fried chicken was a bit over cooked to me, the flavour was there but the texture just wasn’t the best I’ve had. And then kimchi pancakes was good when you picked the side bits that were crispy, but the middle ones were a bit too thick in my opinion.
The best restaurant in London. The flavor brings you back to Korea in one second. The service is kind and friendly. The place is very clean and tidy. Food: 5/5
Amazing place for very authentic Korean food. I also see Koreans dining here as well. The food is always flavourful and does not take too long to arrive. You might have a flag down the server if you sit further inside the restaurant but as it common with many other Asian places. The fried chicken and the seafood pancakes are a must try. If you like soup, their seafood chigae is amazing! For the hotstone bibimbap, you have to add sauce and stir the ingredients together quickly, otherwise they might burn.
The food was superbly tasty! Kimchi is a must! I very much love the Kimchi soup, too! It was the best one I have ever had in ages. Very generous and friendly staff! The quality of the food is excellent, and the price is affordable.Food: 5/5
Tasty Korean food in central London. Great starters, a mixture of kimchi, bean sprouts and pickled cucumber. The Sweet and sour chicken was my favourite.First time I have had to cook my beef bulgogi but it was very good. Great place to go if you want to try Korean for the first time.
No free small appetizers anymore, The kimchi soup and kimchi pancake are really salty. The beef rib with thin glass noodles have really small portion, only two piece of beef rib and a few string of glass noodles that you can barely find it! Pricey and not worth it!Food: 1/5
