I've been to Jimmy's a number of times. Occassionally it's a good night, a few times I have been charged an amount that was far below the price the drink actually is. (Due to a student card). Sounds good, right? Not so much. After paying this lower price, I have returned to the bar only to be presented with a completely different price, and subsequently chastised by the bar staff when questioning that price. Bar staff responses include: "Why are we even having this conversation?" And simply putting a hand up in my face. To demonstrate a sheer lack of consistency in pricing is one thing, but to disrespect a customer completely is another. Just to be fair, the bad experiences I have had here have been, in their totality, due to the tall, bald bartender, of which I do not know the name. If you want to give your money to a business that is fair spend it anywhere other than here. On another note, the DJ's can't get enough of their own voice. If they don't say "Jimmy Allen's every night from 10" in the most irritating tone possible, then they're not there to begin with. I'm from Newcastle and this is genuinely the worst club I've ever been to.
