Was charged over £7 for 500ml from jewsons and just bought some more for £1.79 for 500ml from the savers store up the road. Total rip off
I was assisted by Vicky at the store today, she helped me find multiple items for decorating was a wonderful help & a credit to Jewsons.
We were recently let down by Jewsons on a missed delivery for the second time, which very frustrating. HOWEVER they subsequently got in contact and made amends. Because, generally, we have received very good and friendly service from them, I have now amended my review and star rating to reflect this; overall, I would be pleased to recommend them, and look forward to buying from them again in the future.
Just had the most appalling customer experience from one of the staff in you Hayle store. He very begrudgingly gave me advice and help only after I was insistent. He tutted when I requested help to carry a 6' 18 mm sheet of ply wood out to my van. He refused to help me put it in stating 'he didn't want to scratch my van". I'm 5' 6"" and built like small bird ... he was 6' something and built like an outhouse. I've never experienced such rudeness.... your mother would be ashamed of you. The other young man out in the yard by comparison was extremely helpful. He sorted me out a nice piece of plaster board and without me asking carried it to my van and put it inside for me ... many thanks to you xx I will follow this up with a letter of complaint to head office and Trading Standards. Absolutely shocking ....
I hired a tool here over the last 48 hours. Very pleased with the service, staff were friendly and helpful and helped me carry the heavy transformer to the car as I was struggling to lift it. I would recommend the store from a DIY persons point of view.
Hayle Jewsons is the best jewsons ive been too. Very helpful staff. They dont hide when you pull into the depot. A joy to visit. Well done to all at Hayle Jewsons.
Jewson's are a builder's merchants so don't expect the same level of customer service as a DIY store. However, staff are probably more knowledgeable than a DIY store. Remember that prices are ex VAT.
It's a good place to get what you need in the D I y DEPARTMENT & I have brought a few tons of chipings for my back garden ! I got a few different types to mix together it was ok MYK
Tried to return an item that was incorrect from Truro, but they can't do card refunds from a different branch.
Hi me and my family came to cornwall on holiday we where driving though hayle and my brother in law got a blow out so we drove it into the nearest car park which happened to be jewson in hayle as we were taking the wheel off five very aggressive men jewson staff come out and started shouting get out of there car park then we had the manager hanging over us untill we put the new tyre on.
