I only noticed this store when I had visited a new dentist in Holloway road, they were extremely friendly, considerate an patience as I couldn’t make up my mind between two products laminated or vinyl, I always wanted a specific colour an design, and the wide variety of all kinds of flooring, that was on offer was quite mind blowing for me haha I had to bring my daughter with me, to help me choose, we chose vinyl in the end due do my age an health conditions an what I would be able managed later on in life, the design I chose was Stella-wood Classic Oak, you can’t tell the difference between the wood laminate I have in the hallways to this it blends perfectly, they also added a free bar trim, vinyl to laminate, When the fitting came, they was fast at putting it down, I was left with quite a fair amount due to size of the room which I asked to keep, the bar trim was not the one that was shown to be in the shop, am sorry to say that’s it’s was a cheaper option and it was just stuck on, which wasn’t fixed properly an I have tripped by it literally lifted off, I would of be happy to have paid a price for one, but saying that I would be going back to have my kitchen flooring replace, in same colour , This was brought in June 2024, I would highly recommend there services
Excellent service. Right from the start when I enter the shop from choosing my flooring to having it delivered and laid. They were very professional, knowledgeable, helpful and polite. And charge me a really good price for my lounge, hallway and bedroom. Would definitely use them again.
Bought some lino for the kitchen from the very helpful Ian last Saturday. This shop has been here forever and I can understand why. The service and patience shown by Ian and Ryan on the telephone afterwards goes that extra mile, and proves why smaller businesses win over larger corporates. The lino was delivered and laid by the two Johns. Very professional and friendly, and they were gave a masterclass in the expression 'There's no substitute for experience.' Nothing was too much trouble - many thanks guys. I would recommend JB Carpets without hesitation, and will be using their services again in the future.
Cut carpet to short on stairs it also moves and got crack lines, so baggy and didn’t ever come to fix problem after making so many calls Carpet don’t even fit under door bars Never seen a worse job ever So not use
Horrible carpeting and a very bad service. Messy work and the workers are irresponsible. They charged me lots of money and the result is very disappointing. They claim to be the cheapest but they are not. You will be charged extra after the job is done for unclear reasons. Plz make sure not to try them.
Met Ian when I visited the shop roughly two weeks ago, Ian was super helpful and put me at ease straight away with confidence the fitting would take place asap. Within a week of visiting Ian, I had new carpets throughout my new flat, with plenty of time to get ready for Christmas. Will definitely be using again....but not for a few years!
Wonderful service from a wonderful chap in store called Bryan! Really easy to order, fitters were on time and everything looks immaculate! Really impressed! Will be returning when I require my bedroom refitting at some point in the near future!
Absolutely excellent service, very helpful explanation about why the original vinyl I wanted wouldn’t work in my L-shaped hallway so no costly mistakes were made. The staff in the shop and the fitters are knowledgeable, delightful, and friendly and I now have beautiful floors. Thanks, guys! Lu
Have been a regular customer for years and most recently had some carpet fitted. The owner John is always very helpful and gives excellent advice when deciding to choose the correct carpet needed. He’s never one to try and sell the most expensive one, but gives many options in different price ranges. The fitters were very efficient, prompt and clean when they did their work. All in all an excellent carpet shop which has been a regular on Holloway Road for years and still continues to provide a high level of service, care and attention..
Last year I had a floor fitted and had amazing service, this year I had two floors fitted but they left no trim, for both rooms. I did have a small piece left over from last years job which could be used for the new floor but not enough. . After talking to John he said that I do not need trim but promised to drop some off. After four phone calls he dropped some off last week, but only for one room ! I am disappointed this time with the service. 22nd October I am STILL waiting, I phoned two weeks ago asking where my missing parts are and who ever answered the phone was going to ask John but he was on the toilet! And was promised he would call back ! But never got a call back Shocking after care service It’s now November and still waiting!
