Jamie's Italian Portsmouth

The place is so beautiful! Very well located, nice and comfy environment. The food is delicious and well served. The menu has many options for all tastes, including a nice Christmas menu as well. The only negative point is the high price, but that's what you expect from the chain. It's a perfect place for a family meal, specially in a Pompey sunny sunday!

Went there after bank holiday monday for a early dinner. A lot of dishes were not available due to menu changes. Staff were polite and helpful but food very average. The outdoor seating had cobwebs and could do with a deep clean. The tables had cheese and left over food bits lodged all over and in between the timber gaps, perfect breeding ground for bacteria. Toilets were even worse..man piss all over the seats and no tissue paper. Service was slow and food no better, gluten free pasta was hard and sea food clearly frozen with little freshness to them. Cocktails were sour and overpriced. Never again !

I have never been so bitterly disappointed by any restaurant as much as I have by this one. Both eat-in and deliveroo are absolutely shockingly bad. Some genuinely inedible foods.

Had a lovely lunch today at Jamies in Portsmouth. Service from Rob P was fab, so friendly and helpful. Food was delicious great as a gold card member to get the tasters each visit too One of our favourite restaurants never been disappointed. Thank you

Decor nice. Waiting staff nice (Except they were slow in bringing out a round of beers, so I asked where they were and they brought them out only to double charge us and disagree that we only had 1 round). Food is very overpriced for what it is; bland and not very much of it. The mixed grill was pathetically small (Actually embarrassing that they served it), the more expensive steak option was boring (Marks though for doing it blue), too chewy and not worth the money. The cheesy balls special starter whilst nice was no different to what you could procure from McDonald's. Squid starter was nice. The classic meat plank was tiny. The special Risotto was arguably too oily/ sticky although tasty. The pork Milanese was dry, chewy and underwhelming and didn't come with anything so was forced to order a side of chips which were burnt. Quite disappointed as I'd never been to a celebrity endorsed restaurant before. Wouldn't go back.
