It was ok, there are other Italian style restaurants in Manchester that are better and cost less. I'm not motivated to go again. The venue however is beautifully poacher with original features from when it was a bank, Very cool.
Great place for a lunch date or lunch with friends! Daily specials and a well priced "super lunch menu" Service is attentive but not intrusive and allows you to talk to your dining partner / friends. Food is what you would expect from a restaurant from Jamie Oliver. If you want non pretentious well though out food at a good price point pop in.
I had no idea that chicken could taste so good. Absolutely delicious. Good cocktails. Good coffee. Outstanding dessert. The service made me feel more comfortable talking to my partner's parents. Thank you.
I was in the city centre tired and hungry. As I was walking I noticed Jamie's Italian. Decide to give a shot. Went inside and found it to be empty. Granted it's a Monday at 3pm. Ordered the famous prawn Linguine. Food was done quick, but I took my time eating it. The taste was excellent and price was reasonable for the brand. Would have gone for the 5 stars but one goes off for the dead atmosphere inside the restaurant. The staff were amazing.
I tried out some of the Jamie’s Italian menu through deliveroo, and it was pretty amazing! The kale & hazelnut salad was an interesting combination of flavours and textures, and I loved the Parmesan and truffle fries. The ravioli Fritti was a starter portion, but was still filling And the dip that came with it was really tangy & rich. I also ordered Tiramisu, but it didn’t travel well and arrived a bit messed up. Still tasked great though! I’ve not been to the restaurant yet, but the food I ordered was delish!
The only Jamie's Italian Branch that I'd say worth dining into. Been to couple of Jamie's Italian including Westfield in London, but this is by far the tastiest one and great restaurant ambiance. Highly recommended.
Xmas lunch was really tasty. Main was luke warm when it arrived but we did have a large group of around 30 people so I can forgive this. A little on the expensive side but service was great.
I feel 4 stars is a bit generous but the main reason for the rating is the awesome staff! The building used to be a bank HSBC and they've made great use of the space. They have quite a basic menu with a lot of pasta dishes. It's not halal my partner is Muslim and it was easy enough for him to find something he could eat. Overall, nothing too special. Not the cheapest prices and I definitely feel this is something I could whip up in my own kitchen. They tell you all about the ingredients which is the only thing I found a bit above and beyond there are some other restaurants that do this in Manchester as well We ordered the crispy squid as a starter and it's was quite nice. One of the nicer squid options I've tried in this area. It was generously seasoned with salt and pepper and came with a nice mayonnaise although not enough sauce I feel, and I don't usually have much sauce anyway! The main was good but I forgot the name of it. The waiter came over with some extra parmesan to sprinkle on top. They also have some really interesting cocktails
Very good place to enjoy Italian pasta and antipasti. The food is excellent as well the place but some kids didn’t like it. Overall it is nice place but unfortunately you need to follow up when you are asked to wait in the bar area and could be forgotten and also when you made your order to follow up. We asked to deliver the kids food with the starters but didn’t happened. So total waiting time before our orders arrive is one hour in off peak time which is long waiting and not expected.
Enjoyable meal. Very nice. Good company, lovely safe room. Don't have the coke it's well flat! Lovely food though, a touch expensive, beautiful old bank location.
