Despite hearing some very good things about the food here, our first experience when we went was quite disappointing. We found menu choices which are normally spicy, lacked any heat and flavours were almost non-existing. Don't think we will be going back any time soon :- Still looking for a good Chinese takeaway restaraunt in this area
We’ve eaten here on 3 occasions now and each time has been worse than the last. The final experience was absolutely dreadful. The food is just so bad. Don’t waste your money here, it’s honestly terrible.
Not sure how this place has 4.5 stars. The food was bland, didn’t really taste if anything. Called and they said the food will be ready in 15 minutes. Which in itself is weird and screams nothing is fresh. They got one of our dishes wrong. Only take cash which is slightly dubious. Honestly not worth ordering from here. Ordered 6 dishes, not even one was acceptable. Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve learned not to trust reviews of restaurants in small towns and villages. The standard is just not up to the mark as compared to places to eat in cities.

Good quality takeaway food. They seemed to be very busy each time I went in , which is a recommendation in itself.
I just finished devouring a takeout container of sweet and sour chicken and egg fried rice while sitting on a park bench in the shade at St. Edward's Church in Stow-on-the-Wold. Tiring of the repetitious menus around the town square, I tried Jade Garden. Good choice. The prices are super reasonable for the Cotswolds region. And I will tell you one thing that will make your mind up. The chicken pieces were all tender white breast meat. No chicken gristle or butts. If you are looking for a change in menu, try out Jade Garden. You will not be disappointed!
Spicy king prawns and Shrimp toast are both highly recommended!! Would have rated a 5 but was advised the wrong ingredients in the second entree purchased which was disappointing.
Same quality every time, need to get card payment
Just ordered a set meal as we did 2 weeks ago and food was excellent. Tonight's how ever was inedible. No batter on sweet and sour plus soo much oil floating on top . Would of taken it back but live 12 miles away . Sorry jade garden but we won't be back
We popped in after arriving late into town. Ordered a couple of chow mien and some spicy chicken. Didn’t wait any longer than 10 minutes. Really friendly service. Food was delicious when we tried back in our hotel room. Highly rate this place for some good, well cooked, fresh flavoured Chinese.
