Me and my husband got married here and it was perfect. Really helpful and kind team who advised how to organise chairs etc. Lots of hidden nooks for photos all around the place, just a beautiful venue
Free car park with limited spaces for visitors to the Tree Cathedral. Approach roads are a little bumpy but worth it for the peaceful and interesting walksVisited onPublic holidayWait timeNo wait
Yesterday we explored the National Trust 'Whipsnade Tree Cathedral'. A beautiful living legacy 'One man's vision for his fallen comrades'. Born in 1898, Edmund Blyth served in the infantry in World War I and suffered the loss of dear friends Arthur Bailey and John Bennett, who died in the March retreat of 1918. He wanted to create a lasting legacy for his comrades-in-arms who were no longer with him. From 1930-1939, with the help of just one man, Albert Bransom 1872-1940, Mr Blyth began planting. #autumnequinox #autumn #leaves #trees #changingseasons #whipsnadetreecathedral #dunstabledowns #bedfordshire #nationaltrust #eastofengland #NationalTrust #EveryoneNeedsNature #Lestweforget #remembrance #WewillRemember
Had a beautiful walk around and finished talking to the gate keeper with her keys . I thoroughly recommend this fantastic spot and the calm it bringsVisited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
Good car park. Tree cathedral is nice, nothing spectacular. Both free with donation box. Walked up and round Dunstable Downs which was beautiful. Road into car park is dreadful and more pothole than road - but less than 100m so not too bad.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Relaxing place were u can connect to nature
Great walk and very tranquil.
More signs required. Needs a good tidy up.
Beautifully kept area which is quiet and relaxing. There is a small carpark next to it which opens at 9 AM and closes at 7 PM. Dog walker friendly . A gate way to Dunstable Downs.
An amazing effort to plant in such a way, to mirror the gardening feel of a cathedral. A pleasant hour or two to spend with nature. Far too small a carpark to enable many people to park.
