Myself and 2 friends stayed recently, the staff were friendly and welcoming. We struggled to get into our room and there was a staff member helped us, with a smile. The lady serving us food, was very bubbly and communicated to us the menu very well. Clean rooms, good price and a short drive to the city centre
Lovely early dinner out with the family. Service was great, staff were very friendly, the food tasted even better, everyone left with stuffed bellies! Lots of options on the menu for carnivores, however vegetarian and vegan options were few. Pizza was delicious!Service: 5/5
Visiting from Toronto, Canada. Went for dinner at the Ivanhoe Bistro/restaurant with my family. I must say this meal had to be the best meal I have ever had. The spinach and ricotta pasta is to die for! A definitely must try!!!! Also, the staff is very accommodating, friendly and fast service. The best dinner experience I have had thus far!!!
Amazing and extremely friendly and professional staff. Only reason knocking star off was the room was way too hot and the water from the shower was way too hot but the staff handled it brilliantly by giving us another room to take a shower and letting us check out later. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it.Rooms: 4/5
What a clean and comfortable place to stay with a short taxi ride to watch the rugby game. The bar was great for a drink and snack before the game and out breakfast was delicious. We had the porridge with fresh berries.
Had a 90th birthday party there. Staff were fabulous with everyone both old and young, nothing was too much bother. Food was lovely and plentiful and catered for all tastes. Many thanks for making her day so special and making memories for everyoneService: 5/5
At the Ivanhoe for a birthday dinner. Nice surroundings, friendly and efficient staff and the food was excellent. Reasonable prices and a decent pint of Guinness too.
Went to Ivanhoe for a meal - didn't book in the run-up to Christmas. As expected, had to sit in the bar. Food was good, a tad expensive and the choice limited. Service was good.Service: 5/5
