Switched GP’s about 3 months ago from a horrendous GP surgery who me and my family have had a lot of trouble from and I’m glad I did, from the very professional receptionists to the lovely AHP nurses that my son and I have seen on our appointments that have listened and have been really helpful, I’ve put 2 online consultation in and I have had call backs just after 9 in the morning from both of them I’m shocked and the quick response but grateful that we have chose the right surgery one that will be helpful and treat me and my sons when needed and not make it feel like an uphill struggle to get the medical help. I have nothing but good comments for this surgery just restores your faith in a good practice.
Been with this surgery my whole life for over 40years and always felt so safe n secure in the doctors and receptionist that have come and gone , i would just like to say how amazing the doctors and nurses are there right now but especially Dr Braniff !!! In the last couple of years both my parents and my daughter have been extremely ill, mum n dad even more so and throughout covid times aswell , Dr Braniff was always there , always able to see them if needed at the drop of a hat and his whole manner n way is just exceptional , he definitely goes above and beyond his job even if they wernt able to get out to the surgery he would visit at home , unfortunately in the last 18 months I lost both mum and dad and Dr Braniff was there throughout !! So caring and became more like a friend , even now still caring of my needs n mental state n checking in ! People are so quick to call doctors and the lack of appointments but I can’t do anything but praise mine n thank him and all the staff at Islington medical centre , there just arnt enough words for how amazing they are and have been to me n my family , I know I am most definitely with the right doctors and could not recommend this surgery more , thank you for being the kind angels you are
I saw Dilia Gomes today. She was so sweet and calm with my kids. She is such a lovely, amazing and hardworking nurse. Very easy to talk to. Welldone Dilia thank you for all you .
Dr Dayaram is an amazing doctor. I have been under this surgery for 45 years even when it was on Shaw Street then Islington. Fiona the nurse is a tough cookie but fantastic. I don’t know why people have written such terrible reviews. Mick and the rest of the staff on reception are brilliant. I work with women in the criminal justice system with Personality disorders. I have to phone doctors throughout the city and beyond and often on the phone for an hour just to get through. I’m speaking from experience this doctors is the best in the cityWell done and thanks for all your help with my diabetes, Hernia, weight issues. You’ve been empathetic and guided me without judgement but direct. Thank you Islington house medical Centre
The reception staff was helpful and made it an appointment for the same day. Dr Pathan was friendly and polite. Thanks everyone in there.
Dr Elkin and Dr Dayaram are amazing, online consultation and telephone appointments are really great. Only losing a star because I'm not so keen on the other drs who don't understand my condition or listen when I try to explain.
Registered as a Uni student - would NOT reccomend. Reception/phone staff are generally pretty rude and not helpful with things like giving advice. Nurses I experienced were not freindly and again very directly & unnecesarily rude at times on things like commenting on my weight and blaming me and then not helping re-send for not receiving letters or emails from them - nearly complained on several occasions over my time there . Bad service for requesting repeat medication/ online services information and booking anual checkup's. I could sympathise as it seems they are very busy but should not be an excuse for bad service and rudness.
Waited over half an hour to be called in to my appointment, which i never was, so ended up walking out. Tip of the iceberg as have had nothing but issues with the practice and there lack of professionalism and care towards patients, will never go here again.
I did not know they d moved,not been for a while. Stood outside door for a bit,says press button,there's no button,lady came and pressed to let me in, not very happy I could tell Went!Went to surgery,,massive room,just stood there then realised which was islington reception,no help .I m moving doctors because I ve moved,, whatsoever,very grumpy staff,i was very polite but their lack of manners is unbelievable
Terrible. I've been registered there for years and the line is always " busy " you aren't even able to wait on hold or get an appointment and the doctor's have no clue what they are doing most of the time. Reception staff is beyond rude
