Island bikes? More like Island "yikes". Took my bike in to get serviced about 2 weeks ago. I knew for sure it had a puncture and a loose chain so I brought it to his attention. I also told him to fix whatever needed done as I was about to start a job as a bike courier. After getting my bike, I realized the chain was the same. He then assured me that the chain was fine, it just needed tightening. The first time I took my bike out for work, the chain snapped and the bearings were ruined. We took it to another shop and the other shop owner then listed numerous things that still needed fixing and informed me that the screws to my brake handles were also missing. Think it's safe to say we won't be coming back. If you'd like to waste your money and get a broken bike in return, then this is the place for you.
