The careful balance between vibe & ambiance and then quality of the food. Isabel's managed to get both beautifully. The food was incredible. The flavour pairings on the plate made for an incredible meal and one that you wanted to savour with every mouthful. Recommend the "ouzo tart" - This was quite amazing! Special mentions to the mash potato! Waiters were fun, enthusiastic and knew the dishes well. All helping to make it a pretty special evening.
I have been here twice and I do really love it. The decor, ambience and service are impeccable. Only giving 4 not 5* as I found the rump steak and the crab a little bland BUT the lamb main is delicious. That being said, I will be returning. Recommend. Also the wine menu is fab.
One of my favourite spots in London. Beautiful bar, amazing cocktails and tasty food. The staff is super friendly and professional, every time I bring my guests they give me positive feedback about their experience. Can’t wait to come back soon!
Beautiful decor, simple but good food and superior service! The fried chicken was a standout and the 800g Cote de boeuf was delicious and cooked to perfection however it didn’t feel like value for money as so much of it was fat and bone, hindsight we should have gone for a ribeye or something boneless. The sides sadly lacked anything special, just fairly plain broccolini and slightly average roast potatoes. The fondant for dessert was beautiful, a perfect balance, not overly sweet - great quality chocolate used. For 3 of us with 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 desserts and 1 drink each it came to around £450. Overall I would recommend, a costly but lovely date night out!
Good food and fabulous atmosphere with live music during my Sunday brunch. Only disappointment the price for an espresso and a bottle of water: they were respectively £4.00 and £6.00. There is absolutely no excuse to charge those prices, this is just taking advantage of customers who are already charged £ 50.00 for a set brunch menu with two courses and a drink.
Gorgeous place especially if you’re the dressing up type. Bartenders were very attentive and not a single bad photo can be taken in this place. Loved my bday dessert.
I liked the interior design, but the food was big disappointment for a fine dining... I ordered “Hand rolled tagliolini with Devon crab” which had a nice texture to it, but that’s it. The starters was bland. We asked for Hennessy cocktail, they run out of Hennessy.. stock up… After my dinner and 1 bottle of wine i was not able to use a gents due it was out of service for the next hour, I was advised.
The vibe and ambiance was good although the food was moderately ok . The steak came out cold and quiet chewy and personally tasted quite bland , the prawns tasted ok and were nothing special - the portions sizes were quite small ,justifying paying £80 for 4 prawns was ridicule .The desserts were amazing and the attention to detail with each of the dishes was fascinating .I would give this restaurant a 3/5 given the fact the it was a really nice restaurant with a fabulous picturesque bar although the food didn’t do it justice for me .
Everything was perfect since we arrive until we left. Paying the high prices are worth each £. I came on a business dinner and it was perfect.
Rather quiet from Monday to Thursday but it is really good from Thursday to Saturday. Good food with amazing staff. Really cool DJ playing some chill-out house to new music to keep things moving
