1st time here and thoroughly enjoy my evening. The pub section was busy, beer cold and tasty, some irish food products available behind the bar Barry's tea, brown sauce, and others. Watched Onoir, a group from Donegal, in the venue room, which was fab. Well, definitely be back for another session.
Saw the mighty Flook here on blistering form and with really good new material - bonus! A great venue for the Irish arts in London, will be back and not just for more music.
Popped in after shopping in Hammersmith on a Friday and a great evening was had, as they had a big jam session with musicians and singers playing traditional songs and the musicians just kept on coming a great time
Been refurbished in recent years to future proof access and inclusion. Has not lost any of its charm but have knocked off a star for the gloomy art in some of the smaller upstairs room that l think might put you off quiet contemplation or distract you in a meeting. It hosts great storytelling events, diaspora evenings and the bar/ tea space is extremely airy and pleasant. It evens boasts the opportunity to buy lrish sausages, black pudding, tea and biscuits. You know you want to subscribe to their newsletter or to visit for a pint or two. Go on, go on, go on
Lovely, friendly place to experience all things Irish. I was there for a concert on a Friday evening, and there is a jam-session every Friday. The concert hall itself is cozy and intimate. Low-tech, but high enjoyment.
We visited to watch a traditional trio, which was very satisfying. I would certainly investigate future performances. This was a Friday, and there was an open session in the bar. I enjoy seeing live music, and this was a pleasant surprise. There seems to be a fair amount of Irish focused events to get involved in. Certainly worth a visit.
It offers excellent value for the money and a lovely atmosphere. Sells a good selection of Ireland's favourite products.
Lovely please. Polite and friendly staff who have always accomodated me for coffees while I wait for my bus to Windsor.
Great venue, small concert hall made for a great atmosphere.
For a little bit of culture on a Friday night, Hammersmith is the place to be.
