The interpretation Centre is owned by Earley Town Council and is located off Instow Road on the edge of the Maiden Erlegh Nature Reserve near to the lake. Opened in 2020, it was built using environmentally friendly materials including the roof tiles. It serves two purposes. Firstly it is used by the Park Ranger and team to store equipment used in the maintenance of the nature reserve. It also has a meeting room used for giving presentations and teaching younger people about the wildlife found in the nature reserve.
