We just checked out after 3 nights here and loved every second. The room was perfect with one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. Jacqueline at breakfast was a breath of fresh air, a real gem. Karina in Seasons really looked after us every day and John at Front of House went truly above and beyond. We will be back.
I had received a gift voucher for the day cation package at the spa, which involves 2 massage treatments, a blow dry and nail polish, as well as afternoon tea in the lobby. I could also use the spa facilities such as the pool and saunas, which were all in meticulous condition and felt luxurious. I celebrated my birthday with this treat and it really made the day special even though I was by myself.nnThere aren’t that many nice places like that in Dublin but when you come here you truly are made to feel special and the staff are all so friendly and attentive. It was an absolutely amazing experience and I already booked treatments for my partner’s birthday here again, as it is just so good value for money!nnI want to say special thanks to the staff at reception and the girl who did my nails and taught me so many useful tips to make my at-home manicure last longer!nnKeep in mind that the pool area has a quiet hour between 1-4pm where kids are not allowed, so if you want a more tranquil experience I recommend that.nnThe afternoon tea was FABULOUS! They were great at accommodating my dietary needs as I am a vegetarian, and the savoury sandwiches especially were delicious!
Nice and quiet hotel. Rooms need to be renovated, and prices hurt the pocket. I would recommend it.nThank you, front desk staff, John and Gary.nA huge commendation for Andrejz for the wonderful breakfast experiences.
I arrived at The Intercontinental last weekend to celebrate St. Patrick’s day. Immediately I was greeted with the most amazing smiles and service I have ever experienced! Everyone from the front desk staff, to concierge, to the bar and wait staff were absolutely incredible! Special shoutout to Jazmyn who assisted us with any needs we had during our meals. She was immensely personable, friendly, and made my best friend and I feel beyond welcomed! She prioritizes her guests and makes them feel so very special. We will miss her care and service! Another shoutout to David at the bar for being so friendly and kind throughout our entire stay! It will be quite difficult for another hotel to compare to the cleanliness and exceptional service I received! The location is also great and is just a blocks away from the Dublin rail that can get you around town easily! Absolutely LOVED it here!
Stayed here 5 days and this review is for the hotel and the spa. Absolutely the worst spa facial I’ve ever had in my life and the body massage was barely tolerable. Half the facial time was spent rubbing my chest and the other half roughly massaging my cheekbones - very odd and uncomfortable. Tech claimed they cannot do a traditional facial due to Ireland hygiene laws ??!! I do not recommend booking a treatment at the spa. As for the hotel, appreciated the Byredo toiletries, complementary water and comfortable beds. Very good location as well with lots of eating options within walking distance. Best doorman ever!
