Visited a few days ago and tried the scampi and chips  beautifully cooked, crisp, and full of flavour. I really appreciate that the restaurant supports Macmillan; it adds a sense of purpose to the meal. A lovely experience overall good food for a good cause.

Had a brilliant family lunch at Inn For A Penny. The kids loved the crispy chicken strips, and my Beef & Ale Pie was fantastic – you can taste why it’s an award winner! Friendly service in a lovely pub setting.

Proper pint, proper atmosphere, and really solid food — what more could you ask for? We came for quiz night and ended up staying until closing. Great mix of people, and the staff kept things running smoothly all evening. New favourite spot.

Absolutely love this place. Proper pub atmosphere with a great mix of locals and visitors. The staff are always friendly, the drinks are well priced, and the food is surprisingly good — the Sunday roast is top-tier. It’s become my regular for a reason!
