Are they privatizing both of these bridges ?? How can they do this sense tax payers bought both of them !!!! Sounds like the people need to take a stand and take it now !!!!! We're going to have to pay to cross a bridge we've already paid for !!!!!
Easy spot to get on the water 2 docks lots of parking
Quick rant: this bridge was supposed to be re-opened a month ago, first delay: alright they must be taking precautions to make sure its safe. Second delay: alright this is kind of ridiculous, are you even doing anything? Third delay: ok come on! This bridge is over due to open by a whole month, and do we see any progress? Absolutely not. This is kind of a representation of how Bay City works, delay road work that needs to be done until it absolutely cannot be delayed any longer, and then half ass it for months on end. Welcome to Bay City, and don't destroy your suspension on our roads that are falling apart because our streets department sucks.
What a joke! Let’s take our sweet time on this bridge it’s not like people need to use it! At least fix Marquette If we have to do a detour! The damn road is filthy! Took a 4Runner down that road and it just about fell apart which is sad because it’s made for off-road! “Tax dollars hard at work” there’s crappier towns that have better roads than bay city!
Independence Bridge is a vital piece of infrastructure for our community. Hopefully our leaders make the right decision and keep it operating the way it has been for most of the previous decades. Privatizing it or tearing it down will only harm our community.
Speed trap but only north bound. South bound , don't care , I guess. Bridge down often. 3 other bridges don't have nearly the problem this one does.
Like the location in town. Think they need a bridge that is high and not stop traffic fir 15 minutes for a sailboat. Build a bridge like Zilwaukee
I drive over that bridge often. Watch out for pot holes that are getting large enough to eat your car!!
Its a bridge i go over it. It doesn't collapse. Big bump on east side.
I really like the Edson Experience. Being on the ship was even better than the scare experience.
