I love the place, very beautiful, fresh air, and awesome scenery to take pictures.nYou can book for a ticket online or you buy at the gate when you go. I visited on a Tuesday afternoon by 14:30pm.nThey close buying of tickets by 16:00pm.nnThere is no in person tour guide for the ticket I bought. You will be given a map to navigate the place. You just have to red the map carefully to visit all areas of the Artland, I was able to visit 4 different places there.nI got lost when I was going through the forest, I was able to navigate my way back lol.
Really enjoyable experience walking round finding the art works and statues etc . They are all very interesting . All of it is outdoors so choose a good day . You are given a map which initially looks quite complicated but you will manage to see most things just by wandering . More narrow tracks than smooth paths so not ideal for anyone with mobility issues/prams . It took us a bit over 3 hours for our visit . Pretty but expensive cafe with good coffee and scones/cakes plus lunch offerings.
Very cool outdoor art garden. Easily spend 2/3 hours walking about the large outdoor space. We were lucky to pick a dry, sunny day and I would definitely advise to do the same as I can imagine it to be quite muddy, when raining.
The Alice in Wonderland trip! It’s a spectacular place, every contribution to that facility will be an asset to help & support the people on board. It’s a great concept by the owners to facilitate the space with magical art & embrace the true value of outdoor Art installations. I would definitely recommend it if you are someone looking for a weekend getaway, a nice meal, and fizzy drink, then yes! Weekends are pretty cool!
We mainly came here to see the amethyst cave as I am a huge lover of crystals. There were also some other interesting areas such as the cells of life but sone if the art wasn’t impressive at all.nnThe toilets are quite a walk from the car park which stressed me out when we first arrived as we had driven for quite a few hours to get there.nnThe map they give you on arrival isn’t necessarily the easiest to follow and a few people we spoke to felt the same.nnThe food and drink prices are ridiculously expensive so I recommend taking your own. I expect to pay a bit more at these kind of places but even I refused to pay what they were asking.nnWe realised when we’d left we had missed a section of the park so may go back if we are in the area.
