Hi, I’d like to give some positive feedback on the below posts, and head unit facia received. Advise was quickly forthcoming, with details and in car photos of new head unit facia. It was received in 3 days UK to Vic Australia that’s absolutely Phenomenal! It takes AustPost c3 days to post within city to city. The facia is of very good quality, suits the car and fits perfectly. I wanted to upgrade the radio of my ford transit custom but I didn't know where to start, I had no experience. After taking recommendations made by InCarTec representative purchased items, connection lead incorrect. Now have to pay return post and 5% repackaging. Emailed them, basically blamed us....... Purchased correct ISO lead from Halfords they were extremely helpful staff and were just round the corner.
A rare gem these days! I was recommended InCarTec by a stereo installer contact of mine from my previous life in the motor trade, and I can't sing their praises highly enough. I've always found it near impossible to get everything I wanted working in every vehicle I've ever messed around with - either no factory steering wheel controls, or no sub, or no radio display to a factory inbuilt monitor.. always a compromise! This time I wanted to do things properly. After deciding to upgrade the ghastly sounding sat nav system in my Honda CR-Z GT, which was complicated greatly by wanting to retain the volume, skip AND phone buttons from the factory Bluetooth the team did their level best to find an ISO to Honda cable that would work. The first adapter sent worked, but highlighted a massive issue - the factory stereo in the GT models is amplified from the factory by a little Pioneer amp tucked away in the dash, and needed a lower level input than my head unit could provide. poorly documented and understood - of all the companies I spoke to before InCarTec, not one recommended a cable that would work with this amp, and lots said the steering wheel phone controls couldn't be retained! When I reached out, Steve, AKA Stereo Superman in my book then went well above and beyond to assist, organising the dispatch of a very neat line level converter, offering wiring advice, listening to my ramblings and ideas as to what we needed to try, and didn't even charge me for the component originally missed in the first order. Honestly, after the days of the car stereo shop around a corner locally have died a death, this place deserves every success. THANK YOU!
