Lovely little library, but children aren't allowed upstairs for some reason - even just to sit at the table and work - and the children's area downstairs doesn't have many books and is very decrepit. It is more a library for adults. It's very close to a school and would allow children access to computers and work spaces for homework, so it's a shame. I doubt that this is the fault of anyone working in this library and more due to GCC cuts. That's a shame, because the library is always full of people and is clearly a much needed and loved local resource for the community.
Total joke of a library. Come here to do some uni work, but had a number of issues. - they placed tape over a plug i would use to charge my laptop - theres a literal mask crazy of staff - staff are loud and rude, dont help people with language barriers and proceed to embarass people - not allowed to drink in the library - staff pretend to do work, honestly cut about gossiping and pretending to fix books
Staff are so loud. It's hard to work when there is incessant chatter. To make it worse, the guy with the beard is very unfriendly. Wouldn't recommend.
Very helpful staff, special thanks to Emma for helping me out with photo copy machine, you made my day Very appreciate it
More like a chat club than a library. The staff is very loud and it's not possible to work in silence there.
Great place, lovely staff
Good facilities, location and choice. Internet access needs improvement speed-wise and, as with all public facilities, some sprucing up might help.
Would be nice to have a chair to sit on and slightly more choice of books..cant fault the staff though
Free lego club. Good printing scanning facilities
I was in ibrox library today and Thomas gave me some excellant help when I was struggling on the computer , thanks very much Thomas
