What a little treasure of a picture house. This place is beautiful. Such an intimate environment reminiscent of how a cinema visit ought to feel. Go on give yourself a treat and travel back into a more romantic pioneering time of cinema pleasure. Lovely. Comfy seats charming decor lovely knowledgable staff good selection of drinks and snacks. Good selection of new and retro films.

This landmark cinema hosts great alternative circuit films. Very friendly staff, great snacks and comfy seats. Open to a broad range of viewing. Highly recommended to locals and out-of-town visitors of all ages.

An historic gem in the heart of Hyde Park, the Picture House has been showing films since 1914 and retains its turn of the century charm. Did you know it's the only gas-lit cinema in the UK? Rare and arthouse films are shown regularly, there are special screenings for children, dementia sufferers, parents with babies (BYOB) and more. It's a proper independent, community cinema. And it's cheap!

Nice little theatre. Wish they'd put the interview with the director after the feature, was hard for the kids to sit through a 20 segment of the director explaining his artist decisions in Japanese subtitles... Not to mention it being spoiler ridden for the ads. Had a numb bum too.. . But nice atmosphere and acoustics.

This is a charming historic cinema in the middle of Hyde Park, Leeds. There is only one screen and the check in desk is a small area - no thrills cinema in a nice building with some original features such as a balcony. Only problem is they don't offer as wide a range of films or show times as mainstream bigger cinemas.
