Just had the high tea and it was excellent, the tiny cakes on the top of the tier were we both highly recommend. Looked after by Cameron who delivered first class customer service with a down to earth demeanor. Nothing was a bother, a wee tip is to ask him to take pics of you to capture the moment as he is fantastic at that. Smiley faced, attentive and easily approachable, chatting about music etc. Thank you for making our day fantastic!
Fantastic food in a stunning venue. The upstairs dining area is so beautiful, set in a historic building with high ceilings and a striking bar. Our dinner was delicious, we enjoyed a sea bass dish and prawn linguine, and we tried a couple of excellent cocktails. It's a bit on the pricey side but we thought it's totally worth its value and great for a special occasion.
Sometimes you visit places where the staff is friendly, sometimes it's a bit more. But here we came in and it felt like meeting friends! They are so lovely and they take time to know their costumers! Every cocktail they prepare is an artwork, carefully studied how to present it and that the taste is perfect! I'd recomand it to everyone!
We visited here after purchasing an itison voucher. The place isnt the same as when it was a steak place. It's rundown and dirty inside... womens toilets - 3 cubicles. 1 was locked, 1 was overflowing post flush and the third had no lock on it - so essentially had a peep hole. Doesnt look like they hire a cleaner. The food was small in portion size and they forgot the 3rd course so after waiting 25 minutes for ice-cream we cancelled it! I couldn't recommend this place to anyone. The staff were very welcoming and did their best but the food was not worthy of the price tag. We paid extra for the scallops which, when arriving were really fishy they didn't smell too healthy. The pasta was so bland and the prawns had purple veins running through them. Was really off putting. We both ended up with an upset stomach too. We spent in total over £100 as we also ordered a bottle - which the staff brought to the table to show us but then said they couldnt open it so had to take it to the kitchen for the chef to open.. Just bizarre. I'd be surprised if the place lasts much longer.
Drinks were amazing! Didn’t have much to eat other than some few sides/nibbles which were great and the olives were outstanding. The service we had was absolutely superb and would especially like to shoutout our server on the night, Camron, who was extremely polite and was constantly checking in on us, couldn’t recommend him enough :Food: 5/5
A classy restaurant set in a gorgeous building. Perfect to impress a date, or a business client in the city. We went on a Sunday and i had the Sunday Roast. It was amazing! We ordered: Water Melon Cocktail and a Mojito. King Prawn Linguine. Sunday Roast Beef. Lemon Posset. We visited here on an invite to make content for our channel, The Olive Tree Family. You can find the full video on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience!
I was taken here for my birthday dinner. Sophie, Cameron, Chloe and Riley looked after us for the evening - the service was genuinely out of this world. Staff were, lovely, friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were INCREDIBLE and we will definitely be returning.Food: 5/5
Friendly service, relaxed setting, and something a bit special. We've wanted to try out this place for ages, and it didn't disappoint. The building makes for a great atmosphere, and definitely feels special, but add that to the great food and genuinely sincere service we were really happy. Little touches like topping up the wine were nice. Definitely book if you plan on going, and it gets super busy at the weekends as you might expect.
Hmm. A quick but charming run through of all the things that were unavailable: olives and anchovies… really? They’re in tins. Well cooked food, nice enough but meagre portions given costs of ingredients. Six small slices of pork belly for £20? Huge mark up on wine. Better places in a short walk away.
Very good and really worth visiting - staff mixed. Some very friendly but a couple weren't great. It's not cheap but you get really good quality. Was disappointed that you don't get bread rolls with your meal - may seem petty but when you have a meal with sauces it's nice to have bread to go with it. I ask for bread and got a lovely warm roll almost like a loaf for 5 pounds. It was my second time here - not sure if I would go back a third time. Had better meals at Obsession of India and Rogano.
