Was always sceptical of this place. Due to when you drive past the back of the pub is facing you. so doesn't look very welcoming. However... when you go in it's clean and warm there is dinning separate to the main bar which is nice. Good Food. Good prices staff are friendly and helpful. so if you want a cheap and cheerful local pub with a relaxed atmosphere five star hygiene rating nice food and atmosphere this is the place to go. coming from someone who drives past it four times a day for 9 months and never went inside till last week....

Acceptable chain pub with standard pub grub, excellent staff and landlord/manager, very quick service on food, good deals on. Pub quiz on Wednesdays. Only one of the real ales has been on for my two trips down so far, bringing it down from a 4 to 3* so far. To be continued...

I went here a few days back after many years and was pleasantly surprised. While the look and feel is pretty generic I actually found it quite inviting. The old smell and stickiness of the place is gone and the refreshed menu offers decent, good value food. I especially liked the 3 or 5 small bites option which was a good snack for a family of 4. Will give this a try next time I'm looking for somewhere to grab a full meal.

A clean comfortable, pub. The staff are helpful and friendly. The food was good value and very tasty. The pub is quite large so plenty of room for everyone.
