"A traditional village pub in a lovely location, serving a good range of cask ales, lagers and ciders, wines and spirits. Live music every Friday from 8pm, quiz night first Thursday of the month booking for the quiz highly recommended. No food at the moment, but refurbishment planned for late February 2023 which will include a kitchen refit."

A lovely place to stop into. Great local beers available and sensible prices
Walking the Chilterns we traversed this small village with 3 pubs. The Horse & Jockey is a small pleasant pub tucked away by the church. 3 real ales on offer, the one sampled was a fresh barrel well served in excellent condition. Friendly bar staff. Does pub food which we didn't sample. Worth another visit.
Been here a few times now & we just can't get enough. Accommodating, food is 10/10 & the staff are just so laid back & friendly. Would highly recommend if you want a pool night or out for a game of darts! I always the girl up there now!
very busy, not enough parking but prices are okay and it does the job
Great beer, food coming
Lovely pub with fantastic pizza's and great range of drink all very reasonably priced! Kirsty and the team are so friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back! :
I first had a drink here back in 1960, spent my stag night here in 1968 and thoroughly enjoyed the village atmosphere in this splendid unpretentious pub. Today I was attending my Mum & Dad's grave at nearby St Margaret's church. I will call in the next time we're nearby.
Always visit Christmas Eve with family & friends - a bit of a ritual & all wearing Christmas jumpers! Always busy, which is good however they ran out of Prosecco!!!! Also so short staffed that none of the tables were cleared. Needless to say we left early.
