We were highly impressed with the assistance given by Simon Collier. He gave clear information as to what was available and confirmed date, timings and arrangements at our visit. We particularly valued his calm, quiet and friendly manner, offering guidance on the day of the funeral itself. He gave us his full attention at all times, making it all feel very personal rather than "just another funeral".
Simon gave us excellent attention, advice and care throughout the whole process. I felt complete confidence in the services we were offered and it made a stressful period manageable. Based on our experience, I would happily recommend Humphris.

The service i received was first class, Josh and Greg in particular were exceptional, i would strongly recommend Humphris funeral service to family and freinds.

I lost my dad & 5 other members of my family in the last 3yrs, my dad's funeral was so beautiful, Kim was who we wanted as a family we have attended other funerals & remembered her. I had to arrange my brothers funeral on my own during Covid, I didn't have to think twice about choosing Humphies & relieved that Kim could do it, she captured everything we said about our dad, she made me smile on the sadist day of my life! I was struggling with what to do, Kim was stunningly thoughtful & so invested, I could've have done it without her support & kindness, she went above & beyond, & again made a very sad day beautifully memorable! As a service they are all respectful kind & understanding! Thank you Humphies
Having spent the day with this family run funeral directors I can honestly say I felt welcomed as soon as I arrived. Everyone I met was friendly and professional at all times and showed great care and respect for the people in their care and for their families during such a sad time. I would not hesitate in recommending them . It was an excellent learning experience for me and I am so grateful for the opportunity . Thank you all so much.
Just one complaint to register and that is regarding my mum's ashes. We took the ashes home on the understanding that we could put personal mementos into the plastic container and that container would then go into the wooden urn. On the day of the internment it was clear that the larger plastic container had not been put into the wooden urn, as the wooden urn was quite a bit smaller than the plastic container that originally held the ashes. The items that we had put into the plastic container had all supposedly been transferred into a considerably smaller wooden urn. I did wonder whether all the items we had put into the plastic container had all been faithfully transferred into the wooden urn as there was quite a few items, and the wooden urn was quite a bit smaller than the plastic container. I was upset that our personal mementos had been touched at all as it was our understanding that they would not need to be. Very disappointing. Felt violated.
Our family chose Humphris to arrange our mother's funeral. Joshua was professional, courteous and extremely well organised and the whole process was flawless. He made sure the day went exactly as we wanted it, and we were extremely impressed and satisfied.
My mother in law, Rita, passed away in April 2021 just one week shy of her 91st birthday. Despite her age, it was a hard hit on the whole family and she is dearly missed. We asked Humphris to arrange the funeral and the level of care and understanding from the whole team, led by Richard, was above and beyond our expectations as he took control throughout the whole process so we didn’t have anything to worry about. No request was too much trouble and no question too silly. They worked with our chosen celebrant to produce a send-off without fuss or fanfare, just as Rita would have wanted. I actually loved the day and we are left with special memories. So this is a note of thanks to the team at Humphris, and if you chose them to arrange your funeral, you’ve chosen well. Rebecca Horley
