I was certain that despatching Dad was going to be painful and tetchy from start to finish. We are a big family, with some big characters, with lots of different opinions all in a charged and emotionally raw state. Who could handle this? Who could handle a crowds of over 500 and three separate events and locations without dropping the ball? Ed can. With compassionate efficiency, tenderly but correctly knowing when to suggest, and when to listen, Ed Frost was brilliant from start to finish. He is a class act. He made one of the biggest days in our lives memorable for all the right reasons. What a legend.
From the moment Edd came to the house following my Brother's death, he and his staff operated with compassion and understanding through the whole process. They were considerate to our feelings throughout and conducted themselves with complete regard for how their actions may affect us in such an unsettling time. We felt like we had an arm around our shoulders from his death, through to the funeral and afterwards with advice on headstones etc. Edd and co were very accommodating to our wishes and advised on how we could actually carry these out in the most respectful and practical manner. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
We dealt with Chris at Edd Frost and he was impecable the whole time he looked after us. In a horrendously difficult time, he took so much off our hands and was incredibly supportive, no matter what we needed. At the funeral, Edd Frost stepped in to deliver the service, when our Civil Celebrant went down with Covid, he also did an excellent job. Everyone we dealt with at the company gave top level and very personal customer service and throughout the process behaved with complete respect for my father. I would absolutely recommend Edd Frost to everyone and thanks again to them and in particular Chris.
Edd Frost and his team supported our family with the loss of my grandmother which happened during lockdown. He guided us through the funeral process at a very difficult and sad time but we felt in safe hands from day one. My nieces had not experienced a funeral before and were anxious about it, so Ed kindly visited them to encourage and assure and even got them involved in the service. The planning and delivery of the service was superb, and the advice and care provided was both compassionate and comprehensive, we would highly recommend his company.
Where do we begin, from the first phone call i made through to mums funeral everyone at Edd Frost & Daughters were just wonderful, kind, considerate, helpful and supportive, a huge thank you to Barbara and Jackie you were so kind to our family, we couldn't have done this without you thank you
Edd and his team looked after us wonderfully and that gave us all a lot of comfort at a difficult time. He was very supportive and accomodating of our slightly more eccentric wishes and he acted as our cremation service conductor, which kept it all quite personal. Highly recommended.
Edd Frost and Daughters looked after our family when our Mum passed away last month. Whilst stood in Katherine house hospice us four daughters and our Dad began panicking that we hadn’t picked a funeral directors and quickly the Googling began. Never having to do anything like this before it was a daunting experience to say the least and almost by a twist of fate we stumbled across Edd, a family man, with daughters of his own and regular fund raising for Katherine House, it couldn’t have been a better fit. From the moment we said Edd’s name to the care nurses and receiving their approving smiles, to meeting with Edd the following day to start making plans we knew we had made the right decision. Edd Frost and the rest of the team made one of the hardest experiences of our lives completely seamless. Edd answered every question we threw at him with expertise and reassurance, nothing was too much hassle and with Edd’s help we gave our Mum the most beautiful, fitting send off. Thank you Edd and team for everything
I would certainly highly recommend Edd Frost & Daughter, very professional but also caring at time be same time, nothing was ever an issue and even to date they still offer support. The day of mums funeral my family were so proud of them, Chris the chauffeurs and pulbearers were so professional and smart, you really did my mum Christine Sarney proud. Thank you again xx
My mother had been poorly for 4 years, with terrible dementia and when she passed away suddenly in early January 2021 we were all shocked and upset but with a sense of relief, as we knew it was going to happen, we just didn’t know when. Edd Frost and all of his team were so kind, helpful and caring from the first phone call and throughout. We had never experienced organising a funeral before and didn’t know what to do. However this is where Edd was brilliant as he talked through everything with us, was available on the phone or email and always knew the answer to our questions. Thank you so much for taking great care of Mum and for enabling us to give Mum a funeral that went so smoothly, even with only 6 of us there because of these strange times, however, the online facility available meant that several other members of our family and friends were also able to ‘be there’ with us, if not in person. We are all grateful to you and we love your ethos Edd, thank you so very much. Highly recommend.
Our family want to thank you for taking care of our dad. Your service has been amazing. We did him proud.
