Looked a nice smart place from outside, was shown to a table. Needed the ladies loo before we ordered. Was directed to the upstairs toilets. My God what a filthy place! I was shocked that a cafe serving pretty cakes etc would not ensure that the toilet was clean and in keeping with the area downstairs. No hand soap. Dirty hand basin and lavatory, ugly bin in the corner etc. It really put me off. The corridor and staff areas beyond were just as bad, filthy carpets everywhere. How they get away with it I don't know. Needless to say we left without ordering. Very poor

Excellent food, prices and choice. Very attentive and friendly staff. Well worth a visit!

Bustling tea room, good food, very pleasant and helpful staff. A bit cramped and a touch pricey, but we enjoyed a nice lunch here.
