The place is easy to find, it was very clean and quiet inside on a Saturday morning. The staff is very helpful, the customer service lady asked me what I need never did this process before and helped me to deposit the postal order to my friend's HSBC account. Definitely made my day a lot easier.
I was very lucky that I met one Asian officer from Penang working in this branch who helped me to close my account. I went to the one in Oxford circus but the officers there were not so helpful and said I can’t close my account since my son is not around. I did check that to close account I can come alone but the officers in Oxford circus insisted that my son has to be here too. Perhaps they are lazy to get the procedure done for me! The Asian guy from Penang in this Bristol branch was so patient. He spent a total of more than 2 hours helping me withdraw some cash and transfer the rest of my money to another account after closing my back account. If only HSBC got such dedicated and helpful staff all over the branches the customer service will definitely improve and the customers will not be frustrated cause I have been bounced here and there for 1 ½ years by officers when I try to get my account closed and get my money out! Furthermore I have to send documents after documents to get my account settled but nothing was done and I had to fly personally to London to get this resolved! Thanks to this Asian officer from Penang in this branch for helping me out and I don’t have to make another trip to London with my son! I really appreciate his help and wish I have asked his name and write a letter of appreciation to the manager in this branch and hope he can be promoted as this kind of staff is hard to come by in Uk! Once again I have to sincerely thank this Asian guy from Penang working in this branch. Thanks a zillion!
Even though my previous experiences were neutral, today we had an overwhelming experience. The executive I believe his name was Ike/Ibek, spent lot of time with us assisting on all the issues we had.
Great customer service, just moved to Bristol and needed to set up accounts quickly, we had our accounts created in a couple of hours
This is the worse branch staff are rude and the queue is insane because they are so useless! honestly so excited to never use this bank again. They can keep my credit card because I don’t have 2 hours to wait in a queue to collect it.
Bad attitude and service. Counter staff and offiicers who were not serving any customer just literally sit around not helping I was there just this morning at 11.55am to deposit old notes , I was told to do it at cash machine. After depositing in, the balance 2 pieces of 10 pounds and 3 pieces of 5 pounds notes cannot be accepted. Approach counter staff if I can deposit directly via the teller Answer from a blond hair staff who was walking around the banking hall told me that "oh there's nothing we can do to help with those old notes" Can someone tell me whats the problem with these staff??? they just give you a blank stare?? Can someone from HSBC give me a good answer? Is oit because I am a student and you all not helping but pretend to turn away This is ridiculously not acceptable WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH MY NOTES??????
I banked with HSBC for 15 years. They were pretty when I joined. Hopeless now. Avoid like the plague.
Very very helpless Staffs . Not treating you well as a customer and trying to get red of you by saying oh you need to call there and here or we can’t do anything for you I’m wonder maybe their system run itself!
We just immigrated to UK and not so good in English, so we felt a bit nervous. We need to do some money transfer, the lovely staffs two girls, one is a trainee in this branch help us patiently and explain the procedures clearly. Thanks for their help and everything are so smooth.
Unprofessional unhelpful service provided despite the fact going in branch twice, our query still hasn't been resolved after 2 months.
