Reviews
Howl at the moon, it’d be perfect to represent a normal and also quite vintage english pub. The location isn’t in The city but near enough, easy to get to, and not crowded by tourists but more of a local place. The food was really good, specially the burgers and beers. Waiters and waitresses were really nice and friendly, and all of the people in the pub brought a nice vibe to it too. The decoration was also precious, all retro and old-fashioned with a lot of posters and pictures! ps. the bathroom too is AWESOME!! Arctic monkeys rise!
Went for a sunday roast, which was ok; I tried the pork belly one, and my friend had the beef version. I give it 4 stars mostly for the experience as we had these lovely Irish musicians performing live next to us. Back to the food, the portions were a bit small and my pork belly was slightly overcooked but I would definitely revisit , the atmosphere was great!
Lovely place! Great mood on a friday night, playing 80s and 90s bangers with everyone enjoying. also showing a bit of sports! Its a pity that Alice one of the bartenders does not have the same mood, i cannot say she is very welcoming. The rest of the crew is super nice.Food: 5/5
This is one of the best pubs around this area. They stay open till 2AM on weekends and people are dancing on the tables by the end of the night singing along to bangers. The food is really on point for this kind of venue, they have a Thai chef there for the season and his menu, whilst being small and focused on a few great dishes, really impressed. The staff are always super nice as well which is so unusual for London.
I visited this bar recently with my fiends and enjoyed the reasonably priced drinks and good atmosphere. However, my experience was marred by a rude interaction with one of the bartenders, Alice. After accidentally spilling my drink, I tried to ask for a mop but mistakenly went behind the bar due to unclear instructions. Alice immediately shouted at me, telling me to leave without giving me the chance to explain what had happened. Her reaction was unnecessarily harsh. The rest of the staff was super nice though!
A lovely little pub, tucked away from the main streets. Howl at the moon all you want, with the occasional werewolf to keep you company. Delightful staff and good service. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the beer, a lager but with hops added. Not the pubs fault but just not my taste. A good place, left with a smile on my face.
Cool pub with cool people. Definetly worth going. We had a great night out despite being the oldest in the pubAtmosphere: 5/5
One of the best pints of Guiness outside of Ireland, also one of the cheapest pints in London. This pub is a jewel of a find for anyone in the area and needs to be respected as such Cormack is a fantastic host, and Lara will guarantee you’re looked after! Couldn’t ask for a nicer team
I went there during a weekday It was not busy inside but The outside was a bit busy with locals. Which suits me. Cheapest pint of Guinness I've come across recently in fact cheapest pint of alcohol I've seen £5 not happy hour that's the regular price and what a lovely pint it was. Will definitely be back again.Service: 5/5
Large beer options and incredible / authentic ambiance when we got there, there was live irish music show. The service is quite chaotic, although it is true that the place gets very bussy after hours and on the weekends. The hamburguer options looked amazing but were randomly unavailable. The roasted meat, on the contrary, was only okey and expensive, not worth it at all.
