The House of Mark was the best B & B experience on our 16 day trip! Our host Ian, was so kind and helpful in every aspect of our stay. Our 2 small children were especially enamored with him as the photo shows. The food was excellent and the thoughtfulness and attention to our comfort was unparalleled. I want to go back!!

An excellent B&B in a wonderful location. If you want peace and quiet (no TVs), good food, and a chance to watch the woodpeckers and red squirrels while having breakfast or dinner then this is the place for you to stay. It is easy to find, and a short walk from Loch Lee (though there is no vehicle access to the Loch as the road is private) and the hills. The owner is very helpful, knows everyone locally and has plenty of suggestions for places to go. Book directly with them for the most up to date information; they only have three rooms, so book early and have a great time.
