Decided on a visit to Sidmouth today as part of my wife's birthday celebration. Had lunch at The Riviera and were delighted with the service and quality of food. Special mention to the Head Waiter who was especially attentive. Will definitely visit again.

The hospitality of this hotel is second to none. They offer first class service in a manner that is neither imperious nor patronising. Nothing is ever too much trouble and the rates for a four star hotel are the most competitive you are likely to find from any of the other hotels at the same level, offering real value for money. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel as a front-runner. For somewhere to stay in this town in my opinion it cannot be bettered.

Great place to spend New Year. Food and service first class as was the entertainment. We have been spending New Years Eve here for the last 20 years and have always enjoyed it.
