This is my second visit to London and given my experience at Hotel Rafayel in 2023, I considered it one of the best hotel in London. Its location is ideal if you are looking for a quiet and comfortable area to spend your time, be it a vacation or on business. I am impressed with the layout of the spacious rooms over looking the beautiful river and the fact that they are all outfitted with high technology and environmentally friendly. The facilities at the hotel consist of a riverside restaurant offering great food and drinks, spa, gym and conference facilities, which I enjoyed immensely. The friendly service by the staff throughout the facility is very commendable. I have to visit again in 2025 and already decided to book my rooms before I leave in the next couple of days! Rooms: Very spacious and impressive use of technology! Safety: The hotel and its surrounding feel very safe. Food & drinks: The menu and drinks are excellent!
I recently celebrated my birthday with my wife at the Rafayel Hotel Spa in London, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The hotel’s location by the Thames is perfect, offering stunning views. Our room exceeded expectations, with top-notch cleanliness and beautifully maintained decor. The staff, particularly those at reception, were incredibly kind and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. We also dined at the hotel's restaurant, Banyan on the Thames, which was a delight. The Indian cuisine was exceptional, with flavours that were both authentic and refined. Overall, I can’t recommend Rafayel Hotel Spa highly enough. We had a fantastic stay and look forward to returning
Delighted to have found this hotel. Service here is excellent and I particularly recommend the restaurant. The choice of food and the quality of food is way above anything I have experienced in a hotel restaurant before. The room is large and very comfortable with it beautiful view of the Thames .Staff are Wonderfully helpful and overall, this is a five star experience. I highly recommend this hotel.
Spent 2 nights for a birthday celebration and the staff certainly made it a 5-star experience - very attentive, kind and approachable. One thing that stood out to me was how immaculately clean the rooms, breakfast area and spa were - like you could literally eat off the floor please don't do that. I had an amazing swedish massage from Maria who had hands from heaven and certainly knew her way around the humam body. The rooms were very spacious but breakfast was below average. I will say, perhaps the decor could do with a little update but the overall cleanliness makes up for it. We had an amazing stay, thanks for having us!
We stayed for one night, but we will definitely come back again . The hotel was quiet , the room was huge and very clean. In the evening we had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was delicious and in the morning we had an amazing breakfast there as well. Everything was on point - the staff is super friendly and helpful. And a big bonus for the location - close to central London, with beautiful Thames views. Rooms: The rooms are super spacious and impeccable. The bathroom was massive and had both bath and shower and even a bidet. Definitely one of the best room we had stayed in and for the price you can't fault it. Food & drinks: In the evening, we had an amazing dinner - our favourites were mixed grill appetiser and for main sweet chilli prawns and steak, which was cooked to perfection . The cocktails and mocktails also didn't disappoint. In the morning, we had breakfast and the selection was huge - we loved the fresh fruits and omelette. Definitely recommend.
Loved our stay. We stayed for a few weeks whilst our house was redecorated. Lovely service and a great large room. The hotel was dog friendly which was key for us. ThanksRooms: 5/5
I booked 1 nights stay at this wonderful hotel. Check-in and parking was simple with no issues. I was blown away by the size of my room, it was spotless I could not find a spec of dust anywhere. I requested a bath and was given a bath and shower in my room. We had lunch in the restaurant and room service later in the evening.Spa, sauna and jacuzzi facilities were great. The staff member outside the spa on 3rd floor was engaging and very informative. I will definitely be returning. Thank yoy
I stopped only in the restaurants and apparrtments but they are great. Food and service is excellent. The restaurant staff is super friendly...you will feel as home. Parking is large and safe but has no EK charging points at the moment.
Stayed in this hotel for few nights . Was excited to come and stay in this apparently 5 star hotel , but It gives more like 3 or max 4 stars hotel experience. Staff very cold , no smile , you don’t feel welcome in there . Even when I tried to book breakfast , receptionist was giving me attitude. I wanted to book breakfast in advance, but the only answer I got was ,, You can do it tomorrow morning… ,, . Housekeeping very slow , in other hotels I was getting room cleaned in morning hours . Here I had to wait till late afternoon to have someone get to my room . Even though my sheets and pillows were not changed for new ones as you would expect from 5 star hotel . Still could see few stains on pillows and duvet from beginning of my stay . This metal box on picture was dusty when I arrived to my room and even after housekeeping nothing changed . You would expect room cleans and dusted from ,,5 star hotel,, . That’s not 5 star hotel experience at all . Also to get to London city centre takes you about an hour by train / bus . Not very ideal . Overall quite disappointed . I won’t be staying here again .
Amazing Hotel Bar with Thames Views Been a customer from about 6 or 7 years. If you're looking for a great spot to grab a drink in London, the bar at Rafayel is a must. With stunning views of the Thames it’s the perfect place to relax. The vibe is chill, the cocktails are top-notch pina colada and passion fruit martini are my favourites for reasonable prices, and there's a good selection of snacks too. Whether you sit inside or outside the staff will take good care of you, the view makes every drink better. Friendly service and a laid-back atmosphere make it a great stop, whether you're staying at the hotel or just in the area. Ps there is also car park which is rare for London. 5 star from me. -Sahan Madduma
