Every time I've been here it's been very productive. They have either helped me there and then with low wait times . Likewise the parking is usually free as I've always been in and out within half an hour. Even for CT scans or x-rays . Staff are always friendly, hospital is always clean . Easy to get too . If they cannot treat you , they will refer you too coventry university hospital, but they will certainly try there best
I attend the Urgent Care Centre here on Friday evening after obtaining an eye injury from an incident using gym equipment. I was triaged by a lovely nurse within 45 mins who was attentive and thorough. As it was an eye injury, she called Coventry Hospital’s eye department to see if they could see me either on the evening or the following morning and whilst she waited to hear back, she referred me to the senior nurse who thoroughly checked my eye and provided me with eye drops to temporarily relieve the pain as my eye was swollen and in severe pain. He was friendly and thorough in his examination. The nurses provided me with antibacterial ointment to keep my eye lubricated and gave me an appointment at Coventry Hospital’s eye department to see an eye consultant first thing the following morning. I couldn’t have asked for a better service - both nurses were extremely friendly and went above and beyond in their service. This is the first time I’ve used this service and I was impressed and satisfied.
Since the moment I arrived 20/08/2022 for a partial knee replacement, I can generally say from the bottom of my heart ,the general staff ,nurses, Mr Thompson, mohamad the orthopaedic doctor the anaesthetic staff ,physio, made me feel so relaxed ,I suffer from anxieties and not once have i Been paniky! best experience in a hospital I've ever had ,so huge thank-you. FOOD NOT BAD EITHER TBF x
Had my 2nd knee replacement 21/6/22 which went as smoothly as the first. Standard of care received was once more second to none. Right from the consultant to the nurses, from the cleaners to the lady who served the tea/coffee - my short stay was excellent. Many thanks to all on Cedar Ward
Came to St Cross after speaking with 111 and could not fault their service, had an appointment at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, was checked in at the reception by a lovely lady called Eileen, then was seen by Claire the Nurse who recognised the complaint immediately, and I was referred to Coventry Hospital… My only criticism was that I was sent to Coventry to see a Medical Doctor when this would of been so much easier if this could of been done at St Cross, but still 5 stars to all at St Cross
I can but say...I would recommend anyone to go to Rugby St Cross. The staff were marvellous, they put me at ease from the moment I walked into reception, they really do work as a Team. From start to finish they treated me as a person and gave 100% of there time to each individual. Nothing was too much for them and no question was precise as trivial. I couldn't have ask for more. My procedure went well all due to the caring, kind experience shown/given
I couldn't be more pleased with my hip replacement at Cedar ward Rugby St Cross. My operation went well, the surgeons explained everything to me, all staff were very professional and caring,I could not have been better cared for if I had gone private ! They were wonderful,I shall certainly return for my knee replacement if I am lucky enough to be given a placement there. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, if you have a chance of going to Rugby St Cross grab it Many thanks to all staff in Cedar ward from Gaye Darkins 6th June.
I had a major knee operation, on the 22nd of March and I wasn't looking forward to it, but I can't thank everyone enough on the cedar ward, for taking good care of me, lovely members of staff who are always their to attend when needed, thanks to the surgery team for a great job, the road to recovery starts now
Great hospital, they treated my mother, they are always friendly and we didn't have to wait long to be seen.
I was attending my appointment this morning' at Rugby St Cross. I was greeted by a nurse ,who kindly asked after my wellbeing,,sadly I have a great fear of needles and mentioned this,. leaving me for a second Heather had informed a team mate who introduced himself as George.I was shown a cubicle where I was able to change into my gown.In no time I was in the scanning unit.I have respect for the NHS . Thanks for your kindness and support.H Coles
