Asked for appointment for son but told practice nurse not available to treat him as busy on visits for next days, then leave. Receptionist said she would ring back in next few hours when I asked her to find an alternative solution. No call received. Phoned back five hours later and went through same process. Told doctor would call me when surgery finished. No call received. Phoned back next day. Took six phone calls (which went unanswered) to get through- and had to press two for dispensary for an answer. Maybe things will improve, but having a job that forces a home move every two years, this is by far the most poor experience I've come across (and we're not precious or moaners)..

Today I called sandy lane surgery and asked for a triage call for my 18 month old son. He has a on going ear infection and i wanted advice on getting him more antibiotics. Does he need to see the doctor again?? Can i just pick up a prescription?? Can i get a appointment?? I was told by reception that I would get a call back at mid day. Well now it's 1pm, no call back and the surgery is closed so now I have to wait another day to get treatment for my baby!! I think it's disgusting That I have had no call back especially for a infant!

poor service on both occasions I have taken grandkids .You wait for over an hour and two patients are seen in that duration but what are drs doing in between the patients.you cannot get appointments.staff lack customers service skills cannot deal with issues a distinct lack of compassion and training g in this department.Glad I personally have excellent surgery whee I live as I would not put up with the poor quality at Horse fair practice.

Nearly impossible to reach on the phone. I have also experienced very poor customer service at the pharmacy too.

Terrible. If you want an appointment you have to wait over 3 weeks for one and if you try and ring the practice they always seem to be "too busy" to answer.
