Dreadful closing down leaving no major DIY superstore in Ledbury.nnSainsbury's should be seriously sanctioned for messing up towns by buying up Argos & Homebase and then closing them.nnThe councils should start denying Sainsbury's new supermarket permission until they start behaving socially responsible.
It's a good place to visit if you have limited mobility, due to the smaller size. The Click and Collect service is good and help is given to load the car, if necessary. Some of the prices are amazing but others are overpriced, especially on some paints. Their own brand paint was also way different from the colour sample on the tin. All in all, my preferred place to visit for seasonal plants, which can be well priced. My £4.50 Clematis is now about 2.5m high...I've had some great bargains from here. But the store is looking tired now and I'm aware that it will soon be left by Homebase. It's a shame, but understandable.
Yesterday I shopped in homebase Blackpole. Today however I went to Ledbury. Talk about chalk and cheese. The staff at Ledbury know what their talking about. You can see them around the store. Plenty of smiles and great service. I know we won't have homebase for long. But I'll be using Ledbury from now on. We'll done Ledbury brilliant service
Tidy and well looked after shop selling range of DIY products at reasonable prices. Kitchen section doesn’t look great with empty areas and the impression it’s closing down. Garden area very good and plants are in good condition.
The laziest staff to ever work in a shop. They just chat amongst themselves and ignore customers.nThis shop deserves to close down.
