It’s a bit of a stretch to call this a Superstore as it’s not that big, the car park and spaces in it are quite small and it doesn’t sell many items that the larger Tesco stores would sell. On the plus side we’ve just been in close to Christmas and they were selling off vegetables at silly low prices. Parking as per the norm is restricted to 3 hours maximum
Great store but…nwent in to buy a bottle of wine. Being asked for ID is completely fair, but the way it was handled was very disrespectful. At the self-checkout, the staff member asked for ID in a very rude, dismissive manner. We left to get the physical ID and came back. she actually ran from the till—leaving another customer she gave the till to another staff—to stop us again and demanded to see the ID before the bottle was even scanned. She even said it herself: “Show the ID before scanning.”nnWe did provide the ID and completed the purchase, but the whole interaction felt targeted, and undignified. This happened on 11/11/25 late evening.
Always clean, well stocked, helpful friendly staff. They have a good ordering service too.
It's so nice to have helpful and friendly staff, from Jo on the cigarette counter to the lady on self service are a credit to Tesco.
Usually able to get everything i need. Recent issues with freezers meant all veggie food was removed, so no dinner for me :.nStaff are always friendly and helpful.
