Purchased cooker from them 2nd Dec. being delivered 9am on 5th. Brilliant service as usual Bought fridge Freezer from them 3 weeks ago. The lady who we felt with is really knowledgeable about the products they sell, and nothing was to much trouble. Highly recommend this lovely local company.
We've always had exceptional service and today was no exception. Fridge/freezer failed last night. We phoned Fiona this morning, she emailed details of their stock and Pete delivered our choice this afternoon. Shop local!!
Fantastic local independent business. Knowledgeable, helpful staff who really know their stuff. From buying a replacement fridge/freezer to ordering a new kitchen with all appliances they have been competitive on pricing and really worked with us to get what we wanted. Thoroughly recommend and staff very friendly when you call in!
Extremely helpful and very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Were able to offer a great choice of products at great prices. Delivery and fitting were very prompt next day, and totally professional.
To put this feedback into context … Now retired for much of my career I was in sales, service and later general management with experience of some 13,000 customers and sales/service organisations in well over 100 countries during my working lifetime. The attitude of Appliance Solutions of Ledbury is just about the worst experience I have ever encountered in my entire professional life. We purchased a dishwasher from them in June 2019, it failed early in December 2019, they would not deal with this breakdown direct but passed the responsibility back to their supplier, in this case Whirlpool. Whirlpool made an attempt at repair in December 2019 after a considerable delay. The unit failed again in March 2020 yet again Appliance Solutions would not help us directly and again abrogated their contractual obligations back to their supplier Whirlpool, who eventually agreed to supply a replacement machine but would not fit it due to Covid policies at Whirlpool. There were opportunities for Appliance Solutions to carry out this replacement but they bluntly refused to do so. Importantly other service work was being done by other local and national businesses during lockdown providing social distancing was observed. Months drifted by and then they had the affront to say if they were to replace a faulty machine supplied by them, they wanted £100 upfront cost to do this. I believe in contravention of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Once more they abrogated their responsibilities to their supplier. The original contract of sale was with the retailer, Appliance Solutions. It would appear that any repair claim made under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 should be free, completed in a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience. Appliance Solutions failed in all aspects, they demanded upfront payment, the replacement was not done within a reasonable time frame and as such we were significantly inconvenienced. Whirlpool did eventually replace the machine in July. Many thanks to Whirlpool for at last redeeming this disaster on behalf of their retailer. Appliance Solutions highly recommended this dishwasher at point of sale and were very keen to sell the unit but after that trying to get any ongoing after sales service support was non-existent. I found them to be totally arrogant and unprofessional and beyond the initial sale, had no interest in ongoing after sale customer service. Think very carefully before you buy any appliance from these people. I certainly would never purchase anything at all from them again !!
Brilliant service, whenever any of my appliances break down the managers of this shop go out of there way to ensure the new one is installed the same day. Many thanks.
