I have been to Homebase to buy this bbq which was on offer. It was saying from £750 to £525. I moved the label and I saw that the real price was £600, not £750!!! Shame on them trying to trick people like this. Scams!
Majority of plants outside are all dead, so dry. It’s obvious they haven’t been watered or looked after, it’s such a shame. They still sell them at the full price but I would rather the plant be healthy and surviving and pay the full price for it. It’s shameful. Rang to complain and was told they are watered?!! What rubbish! I’ve been going there for a long time and it’s only in recent times it’s being neglected. Today, there were others who all said the same thing. I won’t be returning.
Went in to buy some plant pots for the garden. Unfortunately although there were a good selection, there were very few which were priced. Eventually I found an assistant but she could only give me a rough price for the pots I wanted. Had to take to the checkout to find out what each one cost. Store could do with more staff to reduce queueing at checkouts and ensure all stock is displayed and priced correctly.
I bought some plant soil in May to repot a couple of indoor plants. Their compost was infested with fungus gnats that just keep emerging/flying in thousands after a month of planting. There seemed to be no end to them that I had to repot several houseplants again after using this compost.
A convenient store for gardening and DIY which also has a facility for online click and collect. Not the cheapest place but will certainty cater for your DIY and gardening needs.
Staff excel at customer service here couldn't lift a unit I wanted staff put it in my trolley and put it in the car on a wet miserable day. Very cheerful young man. Lots to see and great range of products.
As an American visiting Homebase for the first time, I must say I was pleasantly surprised. It reminded me of a small Home Depot.
Inside store, big clean and tidy ,outside down the side to sainsburys a jungle .Managed to get what I wanted .
Ordered some Cuprinol wood paint it was the Cheapest prise around by far. Would by again if needed
I agree with other comments about wrong information/prices. I wanted to buy this 11 piece padded garden set which was on sale, I picked up box 3 of 3 and asked a member of staff to get the rest of the set only to be told it was only the parasol that was for sale. Look at the description on the sale ticket After challenging it they changed the sign although the manager Stuart Rodgers, who was very rude and condescending stated it was right in the first place. So why change it Many of times the prices on the shelf differ to what you pay at the till check your receipts.
