Homebase

They had what I wanted at a reasonable price. Staff helpful. One member of staff didn't understand the 2m rule otherwise good Covid compliance.

Be prepared to queue a few laps around the shop as most tills are closed understandable though during covid

Tried to order online for click and collect. Kept coming up with glitches. Tried phoning store, no answer. Travelled to store to find out click and collect or delivery does not work as in usual stores with an online presence. If they don't have it in your store, you're not going to get it! Extremely frustrating!

Poor Covid compliance. No hand sanitising gel left in 2 containers as you walk in. No one checked. When asked a Homebase worker at the entrance if I could sanitise my hands anywhere as there was no gel, she reacted as if I asked her something impossible to do and was rude.

I found homebase about as much use as a chocolate fireguard no wonder b&q a going so well

Very less staff but because of COVID. I was happy with the service. Staff was helpful and click and collect was great experience.

I'm sure it's a great place but they were in the middle of a refurbishment, which is sensible of them as its a down time. I will return and re post next time .

When we managed to find an assistant he was very helpful and polite. We bought 2 expensive lights, the boxes looked like they had been in a warehouse for 20 years covered in very thick dust!! They must have been put on the shelf like that.
