The store has significantly improved in the last year or so, it is feeling a lot less like a warehouse and a lot more loved and customer friendly. The product range has also improved and the store is currently undergoing some flow changes to improve the customers shopping experience.
Staff always helpful, finding what you need. Also very quick with there click and collect orders. Always have discounts too

Usual homebase stuff, generally expensive £7 bulb was £4 in wilko even without their multibuy. Was nice store, good displays, understaffed as usual.
Good range of products at reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Store not as big as some rivals, so range may be more limited.
Exchanged my gas bottle, the staff was very polite and was a nice quick process.
Ok for alternative ranges of wallpaper etc and if desperate. In desperate need of a revamp as looking tired.
Homebase and all the other shops are good, But I wouldn't recommend any one going as it took well over 3 hours before we could even get in the queue to leave the carpark. Really not happy.
It has never happened to me before but I was stick in the car park for nearly 3 hour because of traffic on the entrance road. One of the security people said it happens regularly because road works on the main road cause gridlock.
Good thing about Homemade is they tend to carry a bit of a different range of many things. In this case, we needed a range of ground sheets to choose from, for a garden wedding. Nailed it!
