Lots of parking. Dogs allowed inside. Cotton Traders inside, Pet area, lots of plants, small furniture area, and a home furnishings section. The plant section is actually quite good. Restaurant inside, pets not allowed in the restaurant. Outside seating too. Children's play area in restaurant. The restaurant is table service, which is unusual for a garden centre. We were told to take a table, then no menus arrived, we had to guess what we wanted !! They do afternoon tea which you can book a table online for. Maybe check the menu online before arriving... Nice cake selection though.
Went for breakfast with Santa, It was a great experience for the kids. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Only went for a Breakfast, so can't comment on anything else. £2.25 for a can of coke was a bit steep. No eggs, which I get as the supermarket's are struggling. But to be told I could only exchange the egg I wanted but they didn't have for a hash brown, when every extra item on the menu to buy was the same price I didn't understand. It came to £18+ for a small breakfast and a dobbies breakfast, cappuccino and Apple juice£3. A rasher of bacon instead of a hash brown or nothing would of avoided this review. Would've been one star but for a nice staff member.
Visited for the first time, beginning of August, went mostly for afternoon tea with my daughter. The afternoon tea we couldn't fault, we even brought scones home as we felt full. Nothing was too much for the staff, friendly and helpful. We had a nice walk round. Sure we will be back. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.
We had afternoon tea with Santa and our great granddaughter today and it was wonderful. Santa was so patient with the children taking time with each one on an individual basis and joining in with the arranged crafts and games. Ably assisted by a very friendly elf. Thank you.
Had a great experience here buying fish! Was served by a very polite and helpful Tom. He gave us great advice and we received 10/10 customer service. Was a really enjoyable experience. Looking forward to going back.
Lovely hanging baskets , this one has loads of bedding plants cost £29.99 but they have all sizes. The only thing is that on some items had no price tag on them or was so small that it was hard to see. It would be nice if all the items had clear price tag on them xx
Very poor. Restaurant & staff do not know what they are doing. Waited 45 minutes to order 2 drinks & cake. Restaurant roof has more leaks than Wales. Edges around roof inside filthy with dead flies, wasps and cobwebs. Never seen a hoover or duster. Disgusting!
Menus on the tables for easy choices, get to the till to order, only 4 mains, no hot children's meals, waiting time for 2 pots of tea 20 minutes. Made a suggestion to put upto date printed sheets of available food on tables only to be told its not her job. So tell the manager, error no manager in today so it's his fault. This place is getting worse, we even had to clear a table of pots before we could sit down. One disabled lady asked for a table to be cleared as she could not do it herself and was told its the customer who should put their pots on the trolly but they did move the pots.
Not great. I arrived at about 13.10 and fancied fish and chipsonly to be told there was one portion of lasagne and one portion of sausage and mash left. People behind me complaining as there is a special offer for over 60s but when you go there is no food left. Considering they don't start serving main meals till midday this was really unacceptable.
