El Gringos Formally Holy Moly, El Gringos is a hugely successful Malton based company. Introduction - El Gringos is a welcoming restaurant with polite friendly staff and a good selection of food at reasonable prices. Takeaway is available with a discount. We were greeted by a polite member of staff on arrival and we were offered seating promptly. The restaurant was moderately busy but staff were quick to offer us drinks while we were looking at the menu. Once ordered, we had a slightly longer wait for the food than we expected but the staff were very apologetic. The food arrived soon after and we weren't disappointed by its taste or its presentation. Overall El Gringos is not the hustle and bustle of a town restaurant but the food and service was very good or even excellent in its class and it is a welcomed addition to Yeadon. Some music might help create a better atmosphere along with offering those sombreros out to customers on arrival to leave a more lasting impression. A dedicated menu for sufferers of allergens would also be beneficial.
Absolutely amazing. It's a new concept and the food is exceptional. It's different and got a great vibe. Homemade chips, fresh food and great quality. I've just noticed that they have some new offers in place so even more of a reason. I will definitely return. These people who are expecting Huckleberry's and then moan and complain, need to get a grip. It's not the same restaurant. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK
One of the worst meals out I've had. Not a patch on Huckleberry's. The menu has been reduced and the food could be described as bland at best. My gf had a slightly better view than myself but agreed completely the previous establishment was far superior. Neither of us will return.
Waited ages to be seated even tho place was not busy at all, the waitress was not very pleasant all tho the waiter who served are food was very helpful and pleasant . I ordered brisket sandwich it was very hard meat not very nice the kids had Mac cheese which was like a microwave version the milk shakes seemed like a cheap version you can buy in super market . Overall verdict is the restaurant is under par for product quality for a dinner of this type and because of this it also makes it over priced
Ordered the steak smelt like poo and taste like poo now suffering at home with a dodgy stomach wont be going again. Its not a 1 star but wont let me post till i put 1 on. But the staff was very good

Proper good food. Decent sized portions and amazing taste.
Holy moly’s is permanently closed . The site is now an El Gringos Tex Mex restaurant 10/4/19
