Beautiful walks with woodland and water, stepping stones and birdsong. A wonderful place to wile away a few hours with the Grandchildren. Lots to explore and its free. It could do with a little maintenance and a few more floral features but still a great place to visit.
A hidden treasure. A beautiful place to visit especially in the warmer weather as it's nice a shaded. It had a lovely walk and a lake with little waterfalls all over the place. there are a beautiful array of flowers and plants which make it very colourful especially in the spring and summer.
Spectacularly good times guaranteed to be enjoyed by all the family. Breathtaking nature, nice shady picnic areas and plenty of water for the hound Dog-friendliness: But of course Picnic area: Plenty of benches
Nice walk. Only did a small walk around. Both dogs on lead. No cost for car parking. Streams with little waterfalls. Most paths although uneven have a surface to save walking in mud although muddy parts are available. Dog-friendliness: Dogs allowed on lead Picnic area: Picnic benches spotted around the place
A nice park where you can have a picnic or just a wander around. You can get lost quite easily as there is only a few sign posts dotted round. There are picnic tables close to the lake where you can have your meal. The lake itself looks tired and really needs a bit of a cleanup. There are certain parts of the park that look stunning. The park has a big car park with free parking.

Lovely easy walk with pathways, ponds, woodland and access to the beach. Dog-friendliness: Keep your dog on a lead near the ponds, the rest is good off lead fun
This is a beautiful place to visit, with gorgeous trees and many pathways to explore. You can walk down to Hamble river, but wellies needed in the winter or wet weather. Great for taking your dog and/or kids. You can spend all day there . No good for wheelchairs or push chairs, very steep in places and 7neven ground. Not enough seats dotted around though for us oldies to rest...
We love coming here, or young kids do too, even better that there's free parking!!! Lots if different paths you can take to make the walk short or long. It's beautiful in summer and in winter, although you'll need your wellies in winter. There are toilets by the car park and even though there's no hot beverages being served, if you cross the road and head to the swimming pool there is a coffee and tea trailer between the swimming pool and outdoor play area Brilliant play area too Only negative thing i can think of, is despite it being a place where dogs are meant to be kept on lead, most people let them off. The signage isn't brilliant though to make people aware of this, as it's not at the entrance but as you walk round and only on tiny signs. Playground: Across the road next to swimming centre Restrooms: Next to car park Dog-friendliness: Dogs allowed, but to be kept on lead. Picnic area: Benches although not many. There is an area that you can put blankets down.
Holly Hill will keep you busy for many hours. Enough tracks for a few visits. Toilets at the car park. If you get to the back of the park it will open up to the coast. Beautiful walk across there. Can be muddy depending on season and rain.
