A wonderful residence set in a beautifully picturesque vista. Holkham Hall's history fascinates whilst the interiors and collections on display inspire your sense of wonder and appreciation for the arts. The grounds are very well cared for with the benefit of activities being run throughout the year for children (especially those who would tire easily or run havoc in the house). Holkham Hall is a remarkable estate well worth visiting time and time again.

We had a fantastic time there. Hired bikes with kids attachments on them, did the bike route. The kids enjoyed me and their dad having mini races on the way round. Kept them entertained. Lots of giggles and laughs from us all. Beautiful views and interesting building to see on the way around as well as animals. Also there's an adventure play ground that you can play on with the kids.

Beautiful well kept, extensive grounds, great for a longer ramble. Massive walled garden. Lots of blooms in Spring. Unfortunately the house was closed on the Saturday in April we visited which was disappointing. Saw lots of deer which the kids loved. Large children's playground on site.

Had a really good time, loads to do. Good variety of choice in the cafe. Healthy salad options to sticky cake options. Coffee is good and soya milk if you want it. But disappointed you have to pay a 40p soya tax for the choice. The grounds are very well maintained, clean and tidy. Although needing to pay an extra £3 to walk around a walled garden was amusing. The adventure play area was brilliant and suitable for all ages. The little coffee van outside the play area is a brilliant idea! The creative use of logs to make picnic chairs and tables is really good idea. The hall and grounds is an excellent morning or afternoon out for all age groups and budgets.

Pretty place, wish we’d had more time there. They were just packing stuff away from an open air concert last time we visited. We went on the lake on a rowing boat which was much harder than it looked, was a right laugh. Had a bit of grub in the cafe and sat in the courtyard to eat it, will definitely go back again and take some pictures to post next time.
